Best place we have ever stayed at. The rooms where always immaculate, they are beautifully decorated with everything you need including, slippers, housecoat, beach bag,sun hat, flip flops.flashlight...etc... Attention to every detail within this resort is amazing. The staff are so friendly and extremely helpful, special thanks to Jeena for her kind assistance and also to Nan (Masseuse) who performed a miracle on my feet, and another thank you to "Tom Cruise" at the dinning room bar, and to Jan for being such an excellent guide on our private tour of the Island!
Quality of the food was excellent, especially the fine dinning. The breakfasts were incredible, both in choice and quality, and the staff were always pleasant and smiling ( even at this time in the morning).
The boat tour on "Josphine" was great fun, and the theme nights where excellent, including the fire show, and the Thai nights.
The special touches of being served fresh fruit kebabs and cool refreshing water during the day was a welcome treat. The staff treated us like family. Very sad to leave this paradise. Hopefully it will not be too long before we return.
I spent 5 nights at Pavilion and truly wished that I could have stayed longer. From having my own pool to the delicious breakfast buffet, it felt like a luxurious fantasy. Thanks to Expedia, I received vouchers for a free bottle of champagne with my dinner, a free cocktail, and a free non-alcoholic beverage.

A 3 storey complex with single bungalows at the beach front. Narrow and conjested but location is right on the beach in
the middle of town. Easy access to restaurants and shops.
If you like cheap local restaurants you cant go past "Harrys" -walk from the hotel to the main street and turn left. It's about 2-3 minute walk located on the left side of the road (beach side). Great food and big serves for 60-80 baht.
Sunday Lamai have a night market that is held just over the bridge (Right turn on the main street once you leave the hotel). Very good market for local food and shopping.
If pass over the bridge in the day, stop and look for the monitor lizards in the water - 3-4 foot long!
A local fruit veg, meat market is about a 10 min walk from hotel on the way to the bigger Tesco Lotus shopping mall.
nice hotel with clean spacious rooms, good swimming pool, located close to the beach, but you'll have to walk about 10 min to reach a good place to swim, as just next to the hotel there is some kind of a small fisherman's wharf, so both the ocean and the beach are not that clean. Still it's ok

The second-most popular beach on Ko Samui, southeast-facing Lamai Beach is a good alternative to Chaweng Beach if you’re looking for a stretch of sand just off the main drag. “Grandmother” and “Grandfather” Rocks on the south end of the beach were carved by wind and rain into creative shapes, and within their crevasses are inviting turquoise bathing pools.
