“A top pick if you're staying in North Tahoe area!”

Myself and family have stayed at this place many, many times. We ski in the winter season (season pass holders), and fly fish and hike the rest of the year...so visits to Squaw Valley are numerous...and this place is simply good, functional, close to everything you need, even quite up-scale, and has a comparably good price point, so what's not to like?...

“Never go back to that hotel again. It's terrible!!!”

1. Blanket and sheet is torn and old. 2. No Air condition at all. 3. no fan in kitchen or living room. I will never want to go back to that chain of hotel again or recommend to my friends and relatives.

“Great Fun”

The Village at Squaw Creek is a great place to have fun with kids. There are so many activities that even the busiest kids won't get bored. The restaurants are pricey but with a kitchen in the room, you can bring your own food for smaller meals and save the restaurants for special.

“No maid service”

Our room was never cleaned during the 3 days we stayed there. After complaining, we finally got some spare towels and our trash emptied. We received a phone call at 4:30am from the front desk that our car lights may be on, but it was in fact someone else's car. There wasn't enough parking in the secure underground lot and we were told to park in the public lot. Also, there was no air conditioning so the room got very hot. There is no pool either. Seems overpriced for the mismanagement and lack of amenities. I wouldn't stay there again.

“Amazing location”

The location was just fantastic. Right next to the "village", so everything was in easy walking distance. And truly "ski in, ski out"! The lifts were right there too! The room was immaculate, and the service was superb. We will go back again and again. I highly recommend it!

“Great place to stay”

I love this place. It is very clean, nice and close to ski area and stores/shops. The only thing that I am not satisfied is that the living room is too small. Other than that, I really enjoyed my stay there and would like to go there again.

“Awesomeness!!!”

Situated right in the valley, it was an amazing place to stay. We were 6 of us so we took the two bedroom condo. It was beautiful, had a scenic view. It was one of the best hotels i ever stayed in. The room charge was decent also. You get what you pay for.

“Will definitely go back”

This is a great resort hotel - world-class skiing is right outside the front door, and it had all the ameneties you would look for. The only negative thing to affect our stay was the noise when the parking lot was cleared of snow during the night.

“This is our favorite place to stay at Squaw”

My family has stayed at the Squaw Valley Lodge, Red Wolf and the Village multiple times and the Village is our favorite. It is the most roomy and has the best kitchen and interior design. It's also closest to the restaurants and shops. Depending on what building you stay in, it is also the closest to the Funitel to the upper mountain. It is true that Squaw Valley Lodge is and Red Wolf are "ski-in", but the Village is closest to the funitel. From Red Wolf and Squaw Valley, it is quite a hike.
