“Always fantastic”
Outstanding lodging, directly across from gondola and in the middle of everything inSouth Lake Tahoe. Stardust team always makes you feel welcome.
“good hotel.”
It is not a 5 star, but to stay a night it is ok.
“Extremely and positively surprised!”
I was completely stunned by the bang for my buck at the lodge. I am usually very squeamish when it comes to staying at hotels and I had steeled myself as usual however, as soon as I walked in the door of our room I completely relaxed. Everything was very clean and well maintained. The staff was very nice and helpful. The location was perfect walking distance for the show we were going to see at Harvey's. My only complaint was that our room shared a wall with the stairwell and so we could hear a couple of people going up and down the stairs but I find that to be true with any hotel. All in all, I would HIGHLY recommend staying at the Stardust to anyone. We will definitely be back!
“Location and comfort”
The Stardust Lodge was great. The staff were friendly and helpful. The studio apt was comfortable with a kitchenette and Murphy bed. Nice flat screen TV and a great shower. The location was as good as it gets. It's across the street from shopping and casinos. We were very happy with the value and our stay.
“Great location in South Lake Tahoe”
All rooms are clean, updated and pleasant. The location can't be beat!
“Not Impressed”
Room is very warm and stuffy in the summer. No air conditioner only fans in the room. There was an odd smell in the room like smelly feet. The hotel staff is very nice and they offer a varity of activities like bikes and movies you can check out for free and a workout room. Good location. Close to casinos, a private beach (hotel provides a beach pass) and the gondola is right across the street.
“Always a good choice”
This was the second time I stayed at the Stardust and I would definitely recommend it. The rooms are very clean and well kept, they provide a small fridge, basic set of kitchen utensils, plates, etc, a coffee maker and a toaster, separate sink for the 'kitchen area' and all of it is very clean (we like 'clean' ;o) ). The location is awesome, just steps from the gondola and the casinos and the service is very friendly.
“Can't wait to go back”
Older hotel but has everything you need and more. Right in the heart of all the action. This is also a timeshare place so even though it's older you get great service. They have a huge DVD selection, free popcorn, a private beach that you have to walk to, a spa overlooking the strip + pool. They also have activities going on. It's not a 4 star place but better than a regular stay place and the service was top notch!
“Great place!”
This is a really nice place. Time-share units that you can book for a short stay. Our unit was a suite with separate bedroom, fully equipped kitchenette - microwave, stove, refrigerator, pots & pans, dishes, utensils, but no oven. Hide-a-bed in the living room. Place is neat & clean, nicely decorated, staff was very friendly. Only one small problem: they lock you in from 11:00 pm to 7:00 a.m. The only way out is through the basement. They neglected to tell us this and this info is not in any of the printed info they gave us. we were a little frustrated when we tried to get out about 6:30 on our last day. The lodge is hidden from main road by trees, so it seems secluded, but it is very close to casinos, restaurants, etc.
“Best for ski Heavenly”
We used hotel several time and come back with pleasure. Close to Gondola and all that you want around: food, goods, etc. Good price, clear room and polite staff. Thanks
