“Good Deal Near Heavenly”

Good place to crash after hitting the slopes. Tempurpedic was surprisingly comfortable to sleep on, initial impression was quite firm. Location was very convenient to Heavenly gondola and downtown, easy walk even with gear. Didn't use pool/hot tub, water was a little too green for my taste. Staff was friendly and helpful.

“Decent room for the price”

We reserved two rooms, including one handicapped with extra pillows. The rooms were clean and adequate. The handicapped room had a whirlpool tub and the extra pillows as requested. The 2nd room was clean with blackout curtains and the location was close to Stateline and the casinos. Don't waste time on the weak excuse for coffee provided in the room.

“Cozy Hotel in the Heart of South Lake Tahoe”

Very cozy hotel in the middle of South Lake Tahoe. Casinos are in walking distance and ski lift is across the hotel.

“Nice stay”

If you're looking for a cozy place in Lake Tahoe this is the place. Gotta remember it is a simple venue, but overall satisfied our needs. It its close to stateline and there is a lot of restaurants and shopping places nearby. Also they offer a book with all the local restaurants menus so its easy to find a good place to eat. The memomy matress was a lil bit weird at the beginning but it went well okay. If you look for economy place, and nice stay i reccomend this place.

Nightlife

Go to the casinos, they have a lot of attractions even in the low season.

“Nice to look at - not so much to sleep in.....”

Location was good, place looks nice, no chairs to sit in to escape the uncomfortable bedrock bed. I am still having neck and back pain after being home for two days. They advertised a comfortable bed and it was literally painful. The shower knobs seemed as if they would fall off when you turned them. It would have been nice for someone to have turned the heater on at least low so that we didn't have to walk into an ice box when we arrived. And when we checked out they added on a resort fee. Well, we were not at a resort! We will not stay here again.

Area recommendations

Downtown would be a nice spot. It's close to HWY and some of the great attractions of our city.

“Nice”

Nice Motel. Friendly atmosphere with good guys at the reception. Simple and clean room. Very good for a night or weekend. Good location, easy to find.

“Great hotel if you don't have dogs”

We got a great rate for this hotel through expedia. When we arrived we ended up paying more for the dogs than the humans. Check the rates per dog before booking if you want to stay here. Otherwise, it was in a great central location and was a clean, nice hotel. The washroom was all tile and a little chilly in the winter months and there was no tub. The mattress was super though. We would stay here again if we didn't have pets along.
