“Good Value for the Cost”
Hotel was clean and comfortable. Furnishings were nice...not extravagant. Our only complaint was that the rooms had poor lighting. Nonetheless, we would stay again...particularly if the rates remain reasonable.
“Good Hotel for the price.”
Good location for us and good value for the price. Went during Street Vibrations and Hotel prices were high. We went for a wedding across the street from the Hotel. Very convenient. I would go back.
“Nice mid-range hotel.”
The beds were very comfortable and the baths were large and well stocked with thirsty towels. Because of construction on the road in front of the hotel, I am happy that I didn't upgrade to a Lake front room. Our building was in the back of the property and we had a nice quiet couple of nights. The "Lake Front" rooms face the busy road and wouldn't be worth the upgrade. The location was good for seeing sites around South Lake Tahoe and for walking the path around the Lake.
“Excellent Hotel”
This hotel provides a wonderful base for exploring the South Lake Tahoe area. Rooms are large and clean, a small pool and hot tub are available to hotel guests. Ample parking and a conveniently located diner provide all you need for a comfortable stay. Would highly recommend this hotel.
“Liked it”
If I stayed again the only thing I would do was to ask to be on the top floor as you could hear the people above walking. Liked it.
“Great Location During Summer at Tahoe”
This hotel is great for the money! Staff is really nice, it was quiet, the bathroom and the sheets were clean, and that was all we were really looking for. We were pleasantly surprised by a few extra perks. All the rooms have balconies in this hotel, it's nice being able to sit outside and enjoy the views. This hotel offers complimentary bycicle rental and a free bike and ski storage room. We stayed there on the Labor Day Sunday night, and they set up chairs on the lawn for the guests to watch the fireworks over the lake and had a BBQ (also free!). Would definitely come back.
“I'd go back”
The exhaust fan was really loud but overall the room was great. The convenience of getting picked up for the Tahoe Queen Cruise is a winner. :)
“Great Lake View”
Good hotel on the lake
“pretty good”
first impressions, the hotel was nice, especially if you are lucky enough to get a room with a view of the lake. for the rooms without a view, they are not kidding when they say without a view! our room overlooked the parking lot facing the opposite direction of the lake, with a nice view of a trailer park. besides that the room was nice enough with a comfy bed.... but the shower was a slow drain.... if you are planning to stay here definitely get a room with a view.... i think if i had the view i would have enjoyed staying in the room more, but if you spend most of your time out and about its good, and the location is great less than 10 minutes to camp richardson, and 5 minutes to the casinos. also the bear beach cafe has good breakfasts!!! all in all it was nice... but i definetly recommend getting a room with a view!!
“An "OK" place to stay at”
The relatively busy South Lake Tahoe Blvd runs right in front of the hotel (although the lake is just on the other side of the road) and noise of traffic can be a lot during peak hrs. The double room we stayed in was quite small however all rooms have a small balcony (if you are lucky you can get a nice lake view!), and the rooms are equipped with a good size fridge and a microwave oven, which for us was a big plus. And a Safeway + Starbucks is just by the corner to go buy snacks and drinks.
