“Great Location!!!”
It was a great location, really close to everything. The staff was really friendly and helpful... They do need a little bit of remodeling but for the price its fine.
“Simple & Comfortable”
Plain and simple if you are looking for a clean and comfortable place to sleep this is it. Do not expect new or fancy or extra things and you will see why this place is a winner.
“not confortable”
Smell weird and poor breakfast.
“Ok for price”
This is no Hilton but the price reflects this. Near to beach and main drag of South Lake Tahoe. Free laundry very useful when travelling with kids. Breakfast is awful ! We took our own cereals to eat in the breakfast room !
“Will come back!!”
Yes, the hotel is old but its comfortable enough to sleep in. Its minutes away from the casinos. Pool, spa and sauna were areas where clean. Guests get free private beach access. Cons.... our room didnt have a screen door for the bugs but wasnt a hastle.
“would think twice about it”
The hotel was old and needs repair work in several areas, there was no elevators and we are seniors and was roomed in or on the third floor. They knew we were seniors when we applied for rates and putting us on ground floor should have been a caring thought. The breakfest they offered was not good at all, even the donuts were cold and flat ( Like pancakes) and tasted old and kept over night or nights in the ice box. Not much more was offered. They should take that item off because I had great breakfeastes in other hotels. Leaves alot to be in compitation with other hotels. Really a let down for the high cost. Thehelp there was great, they went out of way to try and help. The neighborhood was very noisy.
“Nice Price, Helpful Staff & Clean too.”
First off I am not one to write reviews. But this one place deserves My time for a review and time to tell you this place is 3 blocks from great casinos. Got an upgrade for just sayin hi..really great staff and friendly.. Got a free gift upon check in but im sure it was just promo stuff for them too. Coupon books helped find new treasures this is a clean location and will say give em a try. The room i got was more than i could ask for. nice price and i cannot give em more thumbs up for their courteousy.
“Not Up to Par”
We typically stay at the less expensive inns and motels, and know you get what you pay for, but our negative experience started with registration when we were told that Expedia had overbooked the motel and we were lucky to be getting a room.....and also that Expedia charged a 30% fee to the motel to book us???? No wonder we got a room in the far building if that is the case. F Building is in serious need of remodel. Wood peeling, etc. Just not kept up at all. Room was clean, but bathroom was not, there was hair in the shower and the baseboard was covered with dirt, the toilet ran when you flushed it, we finally had to turn the water flow off to the toilet. The bathroom sink was plugged up. The air conditioner was so loud you couldn't sleep. The bed was hard as a rock, and we could feel the springs and hear them. There was a balcony but you didn't dare sit it the chairs - they were so dirty. Only pros - walking distance to Harvey's Outdoor Arena and continental breakfast in the morning.
“Great Location”
The hotel isn't anything fancy, but you can't beat the price. There isn't anything we can complain about. The location is perfect. Within walking distance to private beach access at Lake Tahoe, shopping, restaurants, gondola, casinos. We didn't use our rental car once while we were there. Everything is just a few blocks away.
“Never Again!!!”
Just don't go there when there is a rock band playing outdoors at Harveys. the Concert ended but the partying did not! Any other time would be great. The bed itself was extremely hard/ we put the blanket to make a softer sleeping surface for us. I like the convience to shopping/ Raley's, starbucks, and restaurants all within walking distance. The beauty of South lake tahoe is very special to me since I used to live at Incline village Nevada and spent summers at Homewood, North shore.
