“we'll return”
The hotel staff was helpful in finding things to do around Tahoe other than snowboarding, they were very friendly with everything else, and the beds are super comfortable
“968 is revolutionary”
This is a unique, environmentally friendly place! The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the room is cozy and fairly spacious. The bathroom is a little cramped. This is a nice location; you can walk to many desirable establishments nearby. Overall, great experience. Would stay here again, gladly. FYI They have a great half-off happy hour on draught beer & wine. The wine is organic and beers are from New Belgium Brewery.
“Good Place For Couples”
Overall we had a good stay. The beds were very comfortable and the Happy Hour was great. Nice place for couples. I thought it was odd for a "Green Hotel" to have plastic cups and plastic bags in the room, but we do appreciate the innovative Eco-effort! There is no A/ C and our room got very stuffy in the Winter. I would return but NOT in the Summer.
“Not Impressed, Very Cold in Winter Season.”
The room was great, heat/air not so great, it was 50's overnight and our room felt like the outside, the RADIANT heat did not work so well as it still felt extremely cold in our room. Not to mention the constant people coming home late and partying in the lobby (we stayed in 102 lower floor). And had to call the concierge 3 times in the middle of the night to have them tell the people in lobby to leave. Overall a 2-3 in my book. Good luck with your travels.
“Don't go for the hot tub”
We were trying to choose between two hotels in Tahoe that both had the same good deal. We ended up choosing 968 Park because it had a hot tub and the other one did not. However, the hot tub was indoors and broken for 3 of the 4 days we were there. The beds were comfortable, but there is an old musty smell to the place that we could never get rid of even with windows open. There are no coffee makers in the room despite this not being a casino hotel where they are trying to get you to have to walk through the casino and be tempted to gamble on your way to get coffee! There was coffee in the lobby but it was really really bad coffee. Also, the day we were leaving we had to get up very early to catch a flight and the front desk said the morning guy "hates to do wake up calls, but we will try." What? I hardly slept because the clock was not great and I didn't trust it. Turns out we did get the call, but due to what the desk said I was not confident. Location was great. No restaurant, but many nearby.
“Perfect!”
Great Hotel! Great Service! Great Location! Very nice people!
“968 Park...Hidden gem”
Can't beat the location. Quick fall getaway was everything we needed, and 968 Park was a lovely hotel. Comfy room and beds; loved the eco-toiletries. The only notable miss - styrofoam cups for complimentary coffee were clearly out-of-place.
“Very Comfortable Beds”
We stayed here this past weekend when temperatures were in the 30's at night and 60's during the day. Our two queen bed room was very comfortable with regards to the beds (awsome) and the price paid. Two fans in the room did the trick. During the summer months...I can see being a little warm if you were to stay in the room. Overall, we got a good deal for two nights stay while we dove Lake Tahoe. Beds, morning coffee and price give this hotel a 4 from us. Will stay here again during winter months, very close to Heavenly gondola.
“First Trip to Tahoe- Unique & Fun”
Hotel has a laid back yet chic vibe. The staff was super pleasant and helpful. The fixtures in the room were fun. lots of refurbished wood and interesting furniture. I'd definitely go back.
“fine hotel at the price”
968 park was everything we needed in Tahoe--clean, comfortable, and well-located. It has a nice, funky decor and feel with lots of recycled materials used in the design. The only complaint is that there was all-night road construction going on at the corner not far from the hotel, but they can't be faulted for that. Perhaps a little pricey at the full rate, but the Expedia discount made it a good deal.
