“comfort in Lake Placid”

Beautiful exterior and lobby. nice pool and hot tub. breakfast was good but not great therefore way overpriced. Breakfast staff was very good. The room was very neat, clean and comfortable with very nice decor. A little extra attention to small details would have made it better. ie the shower curtain needed replacement. Our AC unit leaked throughout the night and made the carpet wet. when I told the desk staff he immediately thanked me for making him aware and was on the radio to his maintainence person. On the ball. When we checked in after a very long drive, the complimentary cookies at the front desk were just the thing for the kids and us.

“Very satisfied backpacker”

My wife and I stayed here the night before an Adirondack backpacking trip, and were so happy with the place that we checked in for another night after finishing our hike. The room was modern, clean and comfortable, the linens smelled wonderful and the staff were all friendly. We'll probably stay here again next time we're in Lake Placid.

“I would recommend this hotel for a stop over only.”

“Good value, friendly staff.”

The location is convenient to all the local attractions. The breakfast package is a good value for families. The pool and hot tubs are very child friendly. Enjoyable stay, the kids didn't want to leave.

“Excelent experience in lake placid”

the hotel is so good, excelent rooms, the bar, the restaurant... and of course the swiming pool, that was so great to be there at night in the midle of the winter season. Every thing was ok.

“Very nice”

On all points this hotel is a great place to stay. Very courteous staff, very clean. Would be nice if this place was closer to downtown but it wouldn't prevent me from staying there next time I visit Lake Placid.

“Very impressed”

We were greeted with a welcome and the service was impeccable. The hotel was very nice and the front desk was very helpful and recommended a great restaurant. There is a shuttle that come to the hotel to take you to the main strip (the hotel is a about 5 minutes off the main street) so you can leave the car parked. The breakfast is a little expensive for what you get, but other than that I would definitely recommend it and stay there again.

“Just OK”

“gerne wieder”

Ruhig gelegenes Hotel etwas außerhalb vom Zentrum. (ca. 2 km) Im Hotel nur Frühstück, Bar und Snacks nm und abends. Restaurants in 1,5-2 km Entfernung. Hotel in sehr gut gepflegtem ansprechendem Zustand. Sauberkeit des Hotels hervorragend. Personal sehr freundlich. Gerne werden wir hier wieder übernachten, wenn wir in der Gegend sind.

Traveller's tip

Fahrt auf den Whitefacemountain lohnenswert, wenn die Sicht gut ist.
