“To wake up with a view of Lake Orta is magical.”

We have returned several times to Villa Crespi. The architecture is not Italian, but the owner's own inspiration. The staff is warm and accommodating. Our rooms were lovely. The restaurant is very gourmet and very pricey. I would definitely return. It is an easy 40 -60 minute drive to Malpensa.

“Stunning”

Villa Crespi is a Moorish dream. It's like booking a room in a museum. Dinner was fabulous, though a bit over the top formal. Staff were very friendly and helpful. About a 10 minute walk very pretty walk from Orta San Giulio, a small charming town on Lake Orta off the beaten tourist track.

“Hotel der Luxusklasse mit erstklassigem Restaurant”

Wenn man sich mal was goennen will, sehr zu empfehlen. Spitzenklasse in Atmosphaere, Architektur, Lage. Zimmer mit Palastatmosphaere (in unserem Fall "Junior Suite"). Leichte Anzeichen des Verfalls (da und dort sind die Holzreliefe verzogen, die Duscharmaturen moegen aus den 1930er Jahren stammen) koennen als Nachlaessigkeit der Noblesse durchgehen. Besonders hevorzuheben die erstklassige Kueche. KEIN Wellnesshotel, dafuer eine reiche Auswahl aus besten Cognacs etc., ein Fruehstuecksbuffet mit nur dem Besten des Piemont. Und ja: wer ueber Kosten nachdenkt, sollte nicht buchen.

“Ideale Lage”

Der gute Gesamteindruck wurde leider durch eine von niemandem zu beeinflussende Heizung getrübt
