Very clean, very nice accomodations. Multiple bars and restaurants open within walking distance. I highly recommend. Its about an hour by train outside of Milan but an easy ride. Great if you rent a car, because a lot goes on in the nearby towns, 10min to 20 min away, so nicely centralized.

The room is clean and well equipped, it has a nice breakfast and helpful staff. The location is just beside the road but not noisy if you close the window, with air conditioning.

Our room was clean. It had a safe and mini fridge, staff were extremely friendly and helpful, breakfast buffet included was good The shower was a bit small. The traffic was very loud when the window was open, since the Hotel is on the main road.

AC didn’t work. No cool air was coming out. We tried all the cold settings and it won’t turn on, just the fans were working. We had to open our windows to get cooler air but train noise throughout the evening was waking us up. Hotel is right next to the rail road.

L'aria condizionata era spenta perchè la temperatura soprattutto serale richiedeva per molti clienti ancora l'utilizzo del riscaldamento. In all an enjoyable stay food was decent, hotel staff pleasant and room was clean and well looked after. Only thing is its a 5k walk to arona which is the nearest decent small lakeside village

What a great hotel. Clean, great staff and wonderful dining. A great way to end our week long travels around Italy. Location is wonderful, 30 minutes to airport and a few kilometers from Arona!

good value but food a bit ordinary. NOT noisy!
arrived early and were very pleased to get a room straight away as they substituted a two bedded room for a three bedded room which suited us fine. Our room no 108 had a small balcony overlooking the lake but also right on the main road so it was noisy when the French windows were open by amazingly quiet with the doors closed. A big bonus was the shared terrace (with 109) which had a relatively high wall and was thus not so noisy. The room was fair size, with big bathroom fitted out for disabled access and was very efficient in terms of hot water, lots of towels and toothbrushes with toothpaste daily! internally quiet efficient lift, lovely staff. no problem parking the car off road. wed walked the couple of minutes through a small park to the lake which was a world away from the main road. we ate in the restaurant every night and ordered from the 12 Euro menu which was amazing value but ordinary food. On the last night we went a la carte and enjoyed the weekend antipasto buffet at 7.50 Euro. however the steak main course was disappointing at 15 Euro plus 4 for veg. On the Saturday we parked the car for free in Arona and had a wonderful full day out with boat to Locarno, train - through amazing mountain scenery in Switzerland, and Trenitalia back to Arona for 34 Euro each NB it doesn't run every day so check at the tourist office (who were incredibly helpful) embarkation point not easy to locate!

Good base for touring round area ,close to motorway and rail station ,despite being next to main road it was not noisy .Breakfast was good , the restaurant was ok but we mostly ate out at one of the many restaurants in the area , not a big fancy hotel being more akin to a top flight premier inn but since we were out all day and used the hotel for a night time drink ,bed and breakfast it was more than adequate

Modern hotel on the Lake Maggiore shore
Modern hotel on the Lake Maggiore shore. Very good value for the quality of the room, breakfast and general hotel condition. Good Italian buffet breakfast and dinner served in adjoining restaurant. Worth noting there is an internet access desktop computer in the lobby for those of us without ipads! Good parking, however road is very busy so care in needed on entry and exit.

Good stopping place
The floors could have been cleaner, but everything else was spotless. Parking included. Wifi in room. Breakfast was meh but convenient. Easy walking distance from a couple good restaurants. Blow dryer in bathroom doesn't work very well (I have thick hair). I would recommend it and would stay again if I were to pass through.

Nice hotel on the Italian lakes district
The hotel was a great price, and well-kept. The hotel had both A/C (not guaranteed in Europe) and free Wi-Fi (more common). The beds were less comfortable than I would have liked. This is not located in the heart of some downtown city, so it does require a car to get to somewhere you want to go. On the upside, has free parking, a very good free continental breakfast, and honestly even if you did get a place in downtown Stresa or something at a much higher rate, you would still probably want a car after a day or two.

Even though the hotel is environmentally friendly, I'm not a fan of paper cups in the bathroom. The jetted shower was great after a long day of sightseeing. The staff are kind and attentive. Plentiful choice for breakfast.

Nice pleasant hotel run by excellent staff who speak English. Room was very modern and comfy. Breakfast was typical Italian. Nice coffee, eggs and toast with a selection of cheese and hams. Fresh fruit and yoghurt. On a busy main road.

Quick overnight before a flight out of MXP after a long drive from France. It was a welcome clean, comfortable, friendly, well-appointed hotel and the attached restaurant was solid and reasonably priced - this coming from someone who usually reads up on all the dining options in a new place and picks carefully. I was too tired to dig in so we took a risk and walked downstairs without coats on and got a great meal. It's not a US chain hotel, but if you're used to small towns in Europe it was very good. Best features were the very friendly, very helpful people running the front desk and restaurant (all family?), the comfortable bed and the little balcony which would have been nice if the weather were better, and if we were there for more daylight hours. Little blips - but not even really complaints - were the *tiny* shower (although the GF loved the multiple jets) and slow elevator. I can't speak to the neighborhood or local attractions, but overall a lovely place to spend the night.

Perfect hotel for a quiet get away.
I recently spent 9 nights at this lovely hotel and was absolutely thrilled with the decision to do so. The room was smaller, which wasn't a huge deal given that it was really just to sleep and shower in with maybe some down time in between. When I arrived, I was promptly greeted and given the key to my room, as well as advised of where it was located. My fiance handled most of the discussion as I do not speak Italian and did not expect the staff to speak English. On the second day, however, I was very surprised by the fact that most of the staff speaks at least conversational English as well, and is very happy to help you either find things in the area, or ensure that you have everything that you need to enjoy your stay. Housekeeping was very courteous, and would call to check before stopping by if you were in the room still. The bed was very comfortable, as were the linens and towels that were provided by the hotel. Their breakfast selection was stellar and utilized the gorgeous dining area of the attached restaurant. I rarely find a hotel that I would absolutely recommend, without question, to another traveler, but this is absolutely one of them. The stay was relaxing and enjoyable, and the view from the room was perfect for seeing the sunrise over the lake. I truly hope to stay here again in the future!

Nice clean hotel. Mostly for hikers. Tv mostly German channels. Breakfast was terrible. I paid $5 for a coissant as the coffee was aweful and the only offered cornflakes as a cereal.

Lovely hotel, with very friendly helpful staff
We stayed at Sirio Hotel for a few days. The hotel is at Dormelletto, which is near to Arona on Lake Maggiore. The hotel is lovely and we were given a room which had a lake view. The room had a small outside terrace area which had plants on each side giving privacy from the rooms either side. The room was a good size with a comfy bed and a private bathroom. The hotel is family run and all the staff were very helpful. We don't speak Italian, but this wasn't a problem. We were given lots of useful advice and maps about the surrounding area. We had breakfast at the hotel each morning which was very good. We didn't dine at the hotel in the evening, so cannot comment on the other meals. We sat in the bar area in the evening and were provided with all sorts of nibbles with our drinks and were made to feel very welcome. The hotel is next to the railway station - we didn't use the station as we had a car and we were not disturbed by noise from the trains. We chose this hotel as it was more reasonably priced than other hotels which were more central, but we prefer to pay a bit less and travel into the centres when we require.

Right next to the railway station, friendly English speaking staff, good room with a terrace and a view, the breakfast is included. The hotel has a feel of a mountain chalet, it's clean and pleasant. On the downside, there is not a lot to do in this sleepy village, even a stroll on the bank of the close-by lake is not easy as most of it is off-bounds. Supermarket is quite far. However, hourly cheap trains from close-by station will take you to Arona or Stresa with plenty of things to see and do.

The Hotel stay was very comfortable. Staff was very hospitable and courteous. Room was very clean and well kept. With railway station dormelletto adjacent to hotel it's very convenient for transportation. Breakfast was also good. Would surely stay there on my next visit.

Great value and excellent service
Great modern hotel for the money. Very clean and very high level of service and friendliness. Excellent restaurant for dinner. One or two hooks in the room and bathroom could improve this experience and maybe a less fancy but little bigger shower.

インフォメーションにミニキッチン付きと在ったがミニバー冷蔵庫しか無くガッカリした事以外は快適だった。 国道沿いで交通の便は良い。パーキングもホテル前、湖側(夜は照明が無い)スペースは十分。 部屋は綺麗。

Nie mehr wieder!
Das Frühstück war super. Die Freundlichkeit so aufgesetzt. Ich hatte ein Economy, Doppelzimmer über Expedia gebucht. Die Aufteilung des Zimmers war sehr schlecht. Das einzige kleine Fenster war in einer Seitennische kaum zugänglich. Habe mich wie im Keller gefühlt. Das Bett war extrem schmal. Vielleicht 1.4-1.6 m. Meiner Meinung keinesfalls für Zwei. Das Zimmer war dennoch so klein das wir über die Koffer steigen mussten. Die Toilette im Bad war so angeordnet dass sie nur von der Seite zugänglich war. Es war ein alter Wirlpool eingebaut. Kein Duschkabine noch Duschvorhang. Nach dem Duschen stand das halbe Bad unten Wasser. Die Wanne war auch an der Wandseite schlecht abgedichtet so das das Wasser unter die Wanne gelaufen ist. Möchte nicht wissen wie es dahinter ausgesehen hat. Nach meinem Aufenthalt habe ich nochmals in den Rezessionen recherchiert. Habe ähnliche Kommentare gefunden. Der Eigentümer hat sich gerechtfertigt dass die Zimmer welche über Expedia gebucht werden leider keine bessere Zimmer zulassen.

Um bom hotel de estrada.
É um hotel simples, quarto confortável, "colado" na estação de metrô Dormeletto e a uns 150 m do lago Maggiore. Restaurante barato para café da manhã e demais refeições. Atendimento bem cordial.É um hotel mais para viajantes do que para turistas.

+d'avantages que l'aspect vintage le laisse penser
Sejour confortable dans un hôtel au mobilier vieillot mais qui présente bien d'autres avantages : accueil franchement sympathique, petit dejeuner copieux et diversifié, petite terrasse individuelle dans la chambre, excellente isolation phonique de la route passant devant et du chemin de fer derrière, proximité immediate d'une petite plage en herbe sur le lac Majeur, possibilité d'utiliser des vélos électriques...
