The Hotel Milan Speranza Au Lac welcomes you in Stresa, the queen of Lake Maggiore. From the ancient Inn “Of hope” in 1859, the hotel history of Stresa was born. Our hotel, heir of that tradition is the perfect place for whoever is looking for relax, beauty, nature and culture.

The hotel is composed by two side by side buildings on the lakeside in the centre of Stresa. Both the buildings are equipped with reception, lifts, free WiFi connection, and a PC corner. There a relax and reading zone, at our customers' disposal.

A short walk along the lakeside from the Hotel Milan Speranza, leads to the stunning historical Villas and to the magnificent Grand Hotels, from the Belle Époque period. Our guests, as well, will have the chance to enjoy this richness by getting to the Grand Hotel Regina Palace’ gardens and swimming pool, only 150 meters away, for free.

You will enjoy your dinner at sunset, at the restaurant "Milan Au Lac", in the brightness of the Hotel veranda in front of the Lake Maggiore. As well, you can enjoy your breakfast in the veranda. The “Embassy” café, in the Hotel Speranza Au Lac, is open till late.

Our guests have free access to the garden, to the external swimming pool and to the Hotel Regina Palace garage, 150 meters away. To our reception you can book our relax and beauty treatments at the Regina Sporting Club wellness centre.

The hotel central position is ideal to easily walk to all the places of interest. From the centre of Stresa on the walk by the lake where the Hotel Milan Speranza Au Lac is located, you can easily reach the Islands and the Borromeo Gulf, the Mottarone mountain with the cable railway and its panoramic view over the seven lakes, the beautiful botanical gardens and the Villas, the Lake Maggiore, the Lake Orta, and the crystal clean Lake Mergozzo. From our hotel you can enjoy a breathtaking view over the Lake Maggiore, right in front of the pier from which boats sail to visit the Borromeo Islands and their famous palaces and the botanical gardens. Stresa is a little precious tourist town that in its narrow lanes offers shops and places where you can enjoy typical wine, food, and handcrafted products. A few steps away there is the pedestrian area of the city centre, where the typical market is held every Friday.
