“Lago Maggiore Hotel”

Hotel is over rated for the price. It does have a great location, but it is noisy and old. The bed was too soft, had to call to get the A/C to work and parking is two blocks away. Better to take a train to Stresa verus driving.

Cet hôtel calme (en fait 2 hôtels côte à côte, nous avons séjourné à "Milan") se trouve en face de l'embarcadère pour les îles Borromée, proche de la Villa Pallavincino (magnifique jardin botanique et zoologique) . Les clients de ces hôtels bénéficient GRATUITEMENT des prestations du Regina Palace situé à proximité (parking souterrain, piscine intérieure et extérieure, hammam, sauna, jacuzzi, courts de tennis) Le personnel est sympathique, tout le monde parle français. Le buffet du petit déjeuner est copieux: entre autres fruits frais et croissants frais, Nous n'avons pas pris de repas au restaurant de l'hôtel A quelques pas se trouve une place avec de nombreux restaurants typiques avec terrasses . En un mot je RECOMMANDE cet hôtel l

Iles Borromée Villa Taranto (on y accède en voiture, sinon 1h de bateau, super!) jardin botanique de 16 ha villa Pallavicino ( à quelques centaines de mètres de l'hôtel) Lac d'Orta et le village d'Orta San Guillio (une trentaine de km) Magnifiques jardins, promenades en bateau, "calme, luxe et volupté" On en revient reposé, enchanté, prêt à repartir

“Hotel liegt direkt gegenüber den Schiffsanlegestellen.”

Insgesamt sehr gutes Hotel,dass man weiterempfehlen kann! Preislich in Ordnung! Leider die Rezeption ab und zu verwaist ! Schrank könnte etwas gründlicher gewischt werden.

Area recommendations

Lago Maggiore muß man ringsrum erkunden, auch mal eine Fahrt auf einen der Berge machen!
