“GREAT LOCATION”

VERY CLEAN SMALL HOTEL SITUATED VERY CENTRALLY IN STRESA. TO FIND TAKE SMALL STREET TO THE LEFT OF THE TOWN HALL BLUE BUILDING WITH CLOCK AT TOP. HOTEL JUST AS YOU ENTER SQUARE ON LEFT. FROM MILAN MALPENSA TOOK ALIBUS SAF TO STRESA. DROPPED OFF AT BOAT BOOKING OFFICE. BREAKFAST MORE THAN SUFFICIENT TO SET YOU UP FOR THE DAY. C&E SEPT 11

“Greit hotell midt i byen”

Vi bodde to netter på Elena og dro glade og fornøyde videre -- vi hadde ikke ventet oss noe storslagent hotellopphold, men et rimelig og greit rom, og det var det vi fikk. Hyggelig vertskap. Kanskje litt langt å trille koffertene (gågater, ikke lov å kjøre bilen til døren), men til gjengjeld gratis parkering. Litt for lytt var det riktignok (halvannen time fotballkamp på TV fra naborommet), og vi skjønte etter hvert på turen at det ikke koster all verden å gå et hakk opp i hotellklasse, i hvert fall ikke utenfor sesongen (vi var der i oktober).

l'hotel elena est idealement placé pour visiter stresa et les senvirons ,tout à proximité resto,lac, embarcadere pour les iles,promenade bord du lac,tout se fait à pied
