“Simply great, best staff, best breakfast and everything else. Highly Recommended”

This hotel is central to all things in the area. Most gracious staff we have ever experienced and we travel a lot. The free breakfast is the best selection of items We have ever experienced. This is as good as it gets at a very reasonable price.

“Great value for your money!”

I had read reviews of Drei Koenige before going and some made me skeptical, but after spending five days there, I have to say the hotel is a great value. The room was clean, decent size, and each day it was cleaned. The font desk staff were helpful and willing to answer questions and gave us no problems. The breakfast was good with a good amount of choices for eating and drinking and the breakfast hours were quite reasonable. The location was great, four minute walk to the river and old section and about ten minutes to the train station and the neighborhood was relatively quite at night. This is not a five-star hotel, but neither is its price and I would have to say for what it cost, we got a great deal. I would go back and stay in an instant. If you are looking for an American style hotel, i.e. Embassy Suites, then you will be disappointed, but that would be the case with many Swiss hotels.

“great time in Lucerne”

We enjoyed the hotel and nothing was too much trouble. Location was good as it was in walking distance to the Chapel Bridge and easy access to the boats on the lake. Bus access was also good and plenty of places to eat nearby. Easy access to the railway station for arrival and departure.

“Good Hotel overall.”

Nice, clean and basic room bigger than expected (having heard the stories of how European hotels have smaller rooms as compared to US ones). location is just 7 -10 min riverside scenic walk to the railway station with number 2 bus as well, stopping near by. Staff was nice and helpful. breakfast was great with good vegetarian options. all old town attractions are well with in walking distance. hotel is baby friendly as well, they provide boiled water for preparing baby formula etc. defintely recommend the hotel. Manager Franchesca and Front Desk person Dafina very nice, professional and helpful and so was the dining staff and housekeeping who do a great job.

“Very comfortable and nicely located hotel in the heart of Lucerne”

Staff was outstanding and the complimentary breakfast was excellent with many food choices. The desk staff were well versed in English and were very helpful with details of the area. The room was comfortable but a bit small in overall size. Located in an area with easy access to all the sites and events in Lucerne. Would certainly stay here on my next visit.

“Just 3 star hotel”

It depends on the room rate of the period, but for me it's not satisfied. Location good, no air conditioner.

“A great location and a great space”

Most hotels, even the expensive ones, are small-ish in Europe, but this room was spacious. The biggest plus is location, location, location. It's in the heart of Old Town and within easy walking distance of so many sights, including the great boat trips on the lake. Don't miss the Picasso museum -- so many extraordinary works all in such a beautiful little town.

“Excellent staff service”

The service and friendliness of the front desk staff was excellent. Parking is a problem - ask the front desk for a street parking permit for a nominal fee - worked very well and saved money.

“Very convenient and economical”

Good value. The workers were all helpful. We enjoyed breakfast being included. Very close to the River--10 min. walk to the prestigious Concert Hall on the Lake and train station, 5 min. walk to the Chapel Bridge. Wonderful coffee "bar" across the street and a 5 min. walk to the nearest Co-op market. The room was quite roomy. The accommodations are economical, but quite comfortable. I would definitely stay there again.
