“Great Hotel”

“Just beautiful!”

Our stay at Wingate was wonderful. The service was great and the newness of the place made us feel like we were the first to use our room and the amenities. Bubbly hot tub, warm cookies at the desk and a nice complementary hot breakfast. We are definitely looking forward to going back.

“Very good choice”

Clean, attractive, large room with good beds, fresh air, nice breakfast. Only complaint is TV and talking noise coming from room next door through connecting door. staff very quickly assigned a different quieter room.

“Can't complain about anything”

The staff were so very friendly from the time we arrived until the time we left. Comfortable beds, very clean rooms, & great amenities like fridge,microwave, & neutrogena bath products. The hot & cold complimentary breakfast was great. The location is very central to a lot of restaurants, shops, & the outlet malls. The pool & hot tub were open late & very clean. Everything was up to our very particular standards.

The Log Jammer restaurant is fabulous! Good food & great service. Try their horseradish!!!

“Hotel was just as stated in the description. New and comfortable. Better than expected. Will be back”

Great stay. Internet, pool, breakfast just as stated in the Expedia description. Hotel is away from the main L-G strip but close enough to walk in 10-15 minutes. Overall the hotel was better than we expected for the rate we paid. Hotel staff was great.... very helpful. We will definitely be back next year.

“Not worth the money”

My husband took me here for our honeymoon. We were there for almost 6 nights, the heat never worked despite the multiple complaints we made. The bath tub drain was clogged but was taken care of the same day however, it was quiet chilly during the time we went and they never fixed the heat or neither were we offerred another room until our last night there. The 3rd night we noticed blood stain on one of the blankets (looked more like menstrual). It was gross. When we complained about these issues during check-out, the response we got was "we're sorry but there is nothing we can do about it". I think it was completely unprofessional to handle customers in such rude manner. We will never go back there!

“Very Impressed!!”

Even though this is a chain hotel, the owners of this one have added some special touches to make it appealing. The decor includes magnificent photographs on the walls, to quilted decorations and wall hangings. Since everything was immaculate, the care and welcome put their efforts over the top. We were so pleasantly surprised.

“Great Hotel for the reasonable price.”

“Wonderful Hotel!!!”

The hotel was clean, staff was friendly, and the complimentary breakfast was delicious!!! If you are looking to go to Lake George and was to stay at a hotel, then you should try this hotel. It is not far from town. The breakfast consisted of eggs, sausage or bacon, french toast, cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, bagels, muffins, and juice, coffee or tea. It was so nice to be able to go right downstairs for breakfast. The indoor pool is a great amenity as well. The room is spacious as well. Definitely would stay again.
