“great family time”
Had a great time w the family...kids like the water park...grandparents went shopping at outlets...brother watched a football game at the bar...one problem is the ac and heat doesn't work very well...hot or cold..no warm setting
“Fun was had by all”
We had six in our party. Four kids and two adults. The price of the waterpark was included with the hotel room cost which was much appreciated. Microwaves and a small fridge were in each room. The price of food was very high so we were glad we brought our own breakfast food and lunch. It was convenient to have a couple of restaurants on the premises. The hotel help was very friendly and helpful. Nice arcade for the kids to go to also. Right off the highway and easy to get to.
“Great family fun”
Great deal off season. The water park is perfect on a cold rainy/ snowy day. Rooms are large. Not here for a dinning experience. This is all about family time. Our only complaints were an off smelling shower curtain and beds harder than we like. Otherwise, can't complain. For the price of our four water park passes we stayed in the lodge. Can't beat that!
“Kids had Fun, Service Could Improve”
The kids loved the indoor waterpark, so that is what really matters. Complaints would be that the Check-in process is incredibly slow, prepare to wait a long time in line. We ordered take-out from the Johnny Rockets located in the hotel, when we arrived to pick up our food we were ignored for 15 minutes. Waitress refused to help and didn't bother getting alerting the person in charge of take-out that we were there. They were way under staffed. I would avoid Johnny Rockets. Like I said the kids liked the waterpark and had a great time, so we would likely go back again.
“not impressive for the price”
This is a pretty expensive "resort", yet I really couldn't tell you why it's considered a resort at all. It's chinzy. Nothing was included with our room. Seriously, I have paid under $100 a night & gotten a buffet breakfast. I fell in their hideously out of date tub & the bath mat popped up. Covered. With. Mold. Gross! The pool was fun for a couple of hours, but that's all there is to do...not enough for most kids. They were have some special Halloween event that they charged $1000 for the weekend for....so because of this there were no activities scheduled. Lame.
“Great vacation location with kids!”
Sofa bed could be changed, very uncomfortable, but beds very good. Opening hours changed for the waterpark and nobody advised us, therefore, 2 more hours to wait with the kids and no place on site to eat breakfast... the only things! Great hotel, friendly and very helpfull personnel, day and night! Amaizing water park, lots of life guards around the water, perfect for young children! thank you! We will visit again!
“will continue to come back to this hotel”
This is the 4th time that we have come back to this hotel and have truly enjoyed the experience. Our kids love the water park and six flags theme park. We also enjoy Lake George.
“Perfect with kids”
Inside waterside is very nice. Kids loved it. Good service: we asked for a crib and it was delivered withing 10 mins. Mattresses are too soft. My wife had hard time sleeping. Beside that, everything was fine.
“Lake George Best Hotel”
Can't wait to visit again.
“Wanted to stay longer...”
Nice hotel! Food was good at Rockets! The kids really enjoyed the water park. It''s not huge, but it's good enough for up to 12 years or so. We didn't even need to go to the main park. We spent a couple hours in the water park and did some other things locally. The rodeo was fun in Lake Lazerene, so check it out. Lots to do in nearby Lake George. My family loved the beds at this hotel, which felt like temperpedic clouds. Everything was clean, except for a little mold outside the tub. The sink is outside the bathroom, but not much of a big deal. Really an overall great experience. We wanted to stay on vacation and hated to g home, so I would say we definetely enjoyed it. Also, it's cheaper then the Great Wolf Lodge, if you buy on expedia. Expedia has the best prices!
