“Affordable and clean”

Country Hearth Inn Lake George is a good choice if you are traveling on a budget. This hotel is just off the highway with rooms that far from fancy but are spacious, clean, and have all the basic necessities. Free breakfast is very basic (cereal, coffee, juice and bagels).

“Very good quality for the price”

This hotel is not impressive from the curb, but it is very nice and clean inside. From the classy lobby (check out the lovely photos of Lake George) to the newly redone rooms, it is a great deal for the price. We did not use the pool, but it looked very adequate and also well maintained. Loved the full volume shower (no water savers here!) and the extra vanity outside the toilet area is always a plus. Our only complaint would have to be regarding the breakfast-like with many free continental breakfast nooks-there is never enough seating. Although the food was okay and the area kept tidy. We would stay at this hotel again.

“better then expected”

I was alittle worried about staying there after reading some of the reviews. But I have to admit I was surprised by the place. It was clean the rooms were nice and although they were right off the exit ramp it was very quiet. And it's very close to Lake George. I would stay there again.

“Great stay for the price”

Actually for the cost, I expected less. Room and beds were large, clean and comfortable.(with frdge and microwave) Only downside was bathroom tub and floor looked dirty. (stained) Staff were helpful and accomodating. Pool was great add on. Definitely don't stay here for the breakfast. If I wanted 5 star it would cost me 3 times the rate.

“Good value at Lake George”

This very clean quiet motel at the southern tip of Lake George offers good value to a budget minded traveler. About a mile from downtown Lake George village, it's right at the intersection of 9W and 9N. Staff is courteous and helpful, pool clean and pleasant, rooms spotless, complimentary continental breakfast adequate- a good jumping off point for the many attractions in the area. We'd stay there again next visit to Lake George.

“not impressed”

The motel was a typical beach motel, there was dust around the bottom of the beds, it smelled musty. About what you expect from a beach motel. But the beach was over a mile away and the strip, the same thing. The service was great!! they just need to replace the hall carpet and getting better cleaning staff. the room appeared clean until you picked up the bed skirt. Then you saw dust.

“Surprisingly better”

We booked this hotel last minute and were concerned but when we checked in (pretty late in the night) the person at reception was happy and quickly checked us in. It has surprisingly big rooms and amenities refredgerator and microwave and in-room coffee too. TV didn't have a lot of channels and one of those advanced pay-per-view items but was ok. Breakfast was ok (bagels, cereals, juice etc. nothing fancy).
