Excellent small hotel offering bed and a decent continental breakfast. Ideal location in the car free old town and about a five minute walk downhill to the nearest metro station from which it's one stop to the main station and about another five stops to the lakeside. The hotel gives free transport passes which we used on the metro and on the buses.
Staff were very friendly and helpful all speaking good English

Le Petit Manoir is a lovely place to stay. We went to visit our son who lives and works in Morges Switzerland. The Hotel is smart and has a lovely ambiance, friendly and professional staff, good food and is very comfortable and clean. It is within easy walking distance from the town and the Railway station - even with luggage! We had a lovely time.

We spent a truly relaxing weekend based at l'Auberge de la Gare, having travelled by rail from Geneva via Lausanne; the Auberge is a stone's throw from the station yet not disturbed by passing trains at all. The views are mesmerising, the auberge charming and homely yet with all modern comforts; it's popular with locals, who call in for a drink or a snack, and I imagine that a meal or drink in the sun on the terrace would be sheer heaven after a busy day.

Hotel is quiet - good for older couples or business travellers. It's a familty run hotel which for me is more pleasant than a chain. The hotel is located in a quiet street but very close to Lausanne station and metro. But it is a steep climb from both. My room was very clean and I liked the wooden panelling. The weather was very warm and there was no air conditioning. There was a fan in the room but the sockets were not in useful places for a fan. I had a minibar/fridge with enough space for me to keep a few items of food like cheese and fruit. The breakfast is typical continental with no cooked items - but no shortage of food and a quiet experience at the start of the day.
