you can tell they started to renovate but something happened when you enter the bathroom or "kitchen area" (which is really just a closet with a sink, a mini fridge that didn't work, an electric kettle and coffee/tea supplies. the beds were fine, and the chair in the room quite elegant (although don't sit in it, it sinks). there is no air conditioning which can be common in Europe but being on the top floor it was horribly hot and the only window (which stayed wide open throughout our stay) is on the ceiling with no shade so the sunlight would wake us in the morning. The worst part was really the bathroom which is tiny (only one person can fit in at a time, and falling apart. My husband didn't even fit in the shower. He's a slim 6'2" man but not a giant of any kind so this made it really uncomfortable. Between the heat and the disgusting bathroom, our stay was very uncomfortable. The staff is very friendly and they do give you a free transportation card (although we had the swiss family pass which covers most transportation). They say they are in the process of a renovation so I would definitely wait until it's done.
