Dining
At Grand Geneva you'll discover some of the finest cuisine and entertainment the Lake Geneva area has to offer. In addition to our three main restaurants, we offer in-room dining from 6 a.m. to midnight, ice cream and specialty coffee at Café Gelato and a decadent Champagne Sunday Brunch at Geneva ChopHouse.
Geneva ChopHouse offers you the very finest in Steaks, Seafood and Style! From our fabulous Seafood Sampler Platter to our Medallions of Filet Mignon, your dining experience will be a culinary treat to remember...Reservations recommended.
Ristoranté Brissago takes the dining experience to a new level with fresh ingredients flown in weekly from Italy. Enjoy regionally made pastas, cheeses, prosciutto, olive oils and desserts as well as a wonderful selection of Italian wines. Truly authentic Italian cuisine served in a romantic setting, amid spectacular views of the Wisconsin countryside.
The Grand Café offers a casual, airy setting featuring contemporary American cuisine as well as dishes influenced by French, Spanish and Italian cooking, with a hint of fusion flare. The seasonal menu reflects the scents and flavors of the changing Midwestern seasons, and offers healthy dining options from low-carb to low-calorie, as well as sinfully delicious desserts.

“Girls relaxing getaway”
A wonderful winter wonderland. The hotel was "grand" and beatifully decorated. The ambiance was relaxing, romantic, charming, simply wonderful. The amenities were great; the caramel apple martini delicious by the fireplace. Overall a great time.
“NOT GRAND!”
Check-In: We arrived an hour after check-in and was told our room was not ready. Room: We booked a Lake Side Double-Double. The room was small, which we expected.Noise: We could literally hear every conversation/noise that took place on either side of our room and the people passing in the hall Restaurant: We attempted to dine at the Grand Cafes. We waited and waited and waited -- with kids hungry and squirmy (hey were out of kids menus/coloring page) and then waited another 15 minutes-and no one came to our table to greet us.Not surprisingly, no one noticed when my family got up and left the restaurant. This was, the most egregious offence . There is ZERO excuse for abysmal service hotel restaurant which makes “exceptional service’ their claim to fame. Not Grand at all. In Hotel Coffee Place - Not Starbucks, but serving Starbucks Coffee: Busy Holiday weekend, Monday morning and the line to get coffee is a mile long. Reason; there is ONE person working behind the bar. One person.Disclaimer: My family and I stay at hotels frequently and I HAVE NEVER been compelled to give an online review. If we were just looking to stay in a room to sleep, I could overlook the inconvenient check-in, the beds and the obnoxious noise level; however, I am a service person and believe you should put out what you promise and the Geneva Grand does not. There are better places in the area – do not be lured by the “Grand Geneva” name or legacy. They are in need of an immediate service overhaul.
“Not too impresssed”
The grounds are lovely but the room we stayed in wasn't very clean and had a big stain on the floor. For the price I think the room should have been clean. We ate at one of the restaurants in the hotel and the service was not very good at all. However, the lounge/bar area was very nice with a piano player and a beautiful view.
“It was an alright experience.”
My boyfriend and I needed a place to stay after a ziplining tour in the area, and decided to pay a bit more for a 'better' hotel. We loved the tv in the mirror of the bathroom, but can't say that anything else about the room stood out for what we paid for. We were happy the room was clean, but expected it to be much more upscale than what it was for the $$$. Pretty much paying for the maintenance and upkeep of the rest of the resort and golf courses. Our time was limited, so if we had more of it, I'm sure we could have found ways to enjoy more of what we paid for. Weren't too thrilled about paying 15$ for 2 'complimentary' bottles of water, considering we never used the phones to make any 'local' calls with the extra 15$ per night room fee. Front desk was nice, but long line to check out in the morning. Lots of random people lingering right near the front desk who were not even checking out, and confused us. Had to ask several people if they were waiting to check out, or not. For some reason, the in room check out was not working for us when we were trying to do that from the room...not sure if it even worked to begin with, but was an 'option' we saw when scrolling/browsing through the tv. I'm not sure we'd choose to stay here, again. But the room was definitely very clean, bed was pretty comfy and everything looked pretty new.
“Lake Geneva Trip”
The bed was not good and neither were the pillows
“Beds are terrible!”
We liked this hotel and everyone was friendly. The pool ALWAYS ran out of towels as they never had any pool towels available. The biggest thing though was the hotel beds. Be prepared, they have two full size tiny beds in the room and they are the most small, hot and uncomfortable beds. They are SO small and will not fit two people comfortably. For a hotel as pricey as this, they really did a terrible job with the full size beds. So be prepared for a terrible nights sleep.
“Great place!!!”
Had a wonderful time and the room was very nice and clean. Food was a bit expensive, but everything was great my three children had a blast.
“worst ever! never going to use Expedia or Grand Geneva”
We came up from chicago for a gettaway for me and my wife. We dont get away often but decided to go because of freinds that we know said it was a great place. we reserved a room overlooking the lake. when we got up there we were informed that do to overbooking we were to be relegated to the holiday inn on the premise. i was taken back and if i wanted a holiday inn i am sure i could find one closer. we agreed after they gave us a $150.00 dinning credit and drove away from the main complex. we took the elevator up wich smelled like vomit to our new delux room overlooking a road( so much more seinic than the lake). we ate dinner wich was great till we got to desert and i got sock and had to go back to the room to lay on the bathroom floor throwing up from what i would assume was food poisioning. i am dissapointed that expedia would let this happen to a customer and further dissapointed in the grand geneva that was far fron grand.
“Grand Geneva Escape”
Grand Geneva is a hidden Treasure. Great weekend escape for any couple or family with so many options both for summer and winter. One must respect Hugh Hefner for his original vision of this location and facility years ago!
“The Grand Geneva made our stay "grand".”
From check in to check out the hotel staff made our stay an enjoyable time. The refurnished rooms were beyond expectation. We enjoyed the Health Club and the Spa. We will be back soon.
