Harry's Bar - A snappy New York ambience reigns in this low-lit nocturnal locale. Night owls can accompany cocktails with a late night meal, with anything from Chinese dishes through to sirloin steak. Live jazz adds to the ambiance from Monday to Saturday. Open evening until late night.

La Terrasse du Petit Palais - Across the road from the main hotel building, small round tables are set upon a terrace bursting with flowers and offering views directly over Lake Geneva and the Alps. “Loved it!!!!”

The hotel was beautiful and the view from our room spectacular. The proximity to the Chateau de Chillon was very convenient.

“Wonderful Hotel”

We choose this hotel as our "special treat" whilst holidaying in Switzerland. did not disappoint. We do however have to mention that the price of breakfast (if not included in accommodation) was expensive as were other meals/drinks etc. Switzerland on the whole foo and drinks are over the top cost wise. So if you are looking to spoil yourself this is the place to do it,

“Amazing!”

View, location, spa, service! Everything handled to perfection! A standard that should be followed in all hotels! We can't wait to return! As return guests we were treated to an upgrade for both rooms in our party and the service was beyond perfection! This is one of the finest hotels in the world.

Events and shows
Montreux jazz festival should not be missed! Best musicians both on the stage and around the town. Boat celebrations on Lake Geneva, shopping along the waterfront and all night cafes to enjoy the beautiful summer evenings.

“Geweldige uitstraling, geweldige plek, maar verwacht dat niet helemaal van de kamer.”

Wij komen al tientallen jaren in Montreux en dit hotel is voor ons een icoon. Veel moois van Montreux komt allemaal samen in het hotel of in de directe omgeving van het hotel. Ons bezoek was een stopover. Op veel manieren hebben we ons op de terassen en rondom het zwembad kunnen verwennen. Het enige wat die standaard voor ons niet gehaald heeft is de kamer. Weliwaar een fantastisch uitzicht over het meer, maar niet het "grandeur" gevoel " waar ik mij wel op ingesteld had..

“bon hotel MAIS ....”

il est dommage que les twins soient remplacées par des chambres à grand lit et que le chauffage soit absent de la chambre 124 !!!!

“設備は豪華、フロントスタッフはいまいち。なぜかバスルーム窓に薄いカーテンのみ。でもまた泊まりたい。”

部屋、ロビー調度、など設備は文句なく豪華。バスルームは、２洗面台で、シャワーブースと大理石のバスタブが別々にある。石けんはチューラーハリス（英国）の高級品、スリッパとガウンでプールやジャグジーへいけるし、コンセントアダプターは電話をかけると身なりのいい客室かかりがすぐ運んできてくれた。エステのスタッフの対応もよかった。 しかし、チェックインした時の女性の応対は、何か決まった台詞をいっており、それを横から先輩男性スタッフがさえぎり感じ悪かった（英語で、残念ながら、、、と始めたとき）。その後、女性スタッフは部屋に案内するとき、全く荷物をひとつでももちましょうとかしなかった。また、案内する部屋がわからずに廊下のここでしばらくまっていろといって部屋をさがしにうろうろした。（美人でしたが、上辺のスマイルに感じた）コンセントアダプターを借りようと、フロントまで現物を持ってみせにあったら、何番へ電話しろといった。自分が電話しようとはしなかった。なんとなく東洋人に手を抜いている感じがした。朝ご飯のレストラン場所の説明がなかった。朝ご飯は覚悟していたより安かった、（別料金、ブッフェ形式、フルーツ豊富）

Area recommendations
ホテルから３分ぐらいのところから、レマン湖定期船にのり、VEVEYまで１２分。そこから国鉄駅まで５分ほどあがり、支線のぶどう列車で、わいん畑のハイキングへ。予約がないとだめとインフィメーションで案内がながったが、途中のボビーさんのカーブ（DOMAINE BOVY)でワインの試飲（１７ユーロで４つぐらい）が飛び込みでできた。とてものどかな人で、途中中国人団体や日本人団体がくると急がしそうでしたが、ひとりでのんびりとしたやり方で、何か食べたいといったらサラミやグリシー二のつまみもただで適当にだしてくれた。ぶどう畑は世界遺産です。 リヴァRivezの街までおりたら、たくさんのワインが取り揃えてあり、LAVAUX VINORAMAという試飲展示館のような施設があり、６種類で２２ユーロで楽しめた。そこの国鉄駅は無人駅で線路をわたると、湖水浴場があり、２０人ぐらいの人がつりや水泳をしており、とてものどか。駅周辺は、夕方のせいか観光客など自分たちのほかに誰もいないようなところでした。
