Nice hotel
“Good central location”
The hotel is very pleasant - light, bright and modern. The staff were friendly and helpful. My room was a good size with excellent facilities. The choice of TV stations was the best I have seen. There was also a good-sized bathroom. However the room did smell very musty and there were several stains on the carpet. The hotel is very well located - 5 minutes walk from the station and similar distance to Place St Francois. It is on quite a steep hill however.
“A bit stingy”
The hotel was fine, and although the room I took was on offer the hotel were very keen to seemingly charge extra for everything. I was fairly unimpressed with the hefty charge wanted for room wi-fi use, around Sfr 13 per 24hrs, and even less impressed with the lobby PCs also being chargeable at Sfr 7 for 30 mins. In this day and age, and at a purportedly business orientated hotel I found it strange that charges were levied for what is a standard service in most hotels now. Particularly charging for using internet in the lobby is ridiculous. Other than that the hotel itself was extremely nice, well located and the staff at reception in general helpful.
