“relaxing”
Love hotel in quite area of lake garda, short walk to town center, and good transport links ( trains, bus). Good room says and living area, the staff are lovely and do anything they can to help you, when we had a problem with our car on leaving they drove us the 30 minute drive to the airport. They hotel is quite and relaxed, there is a train line beside the hotel, when passes few times an hour and is not very loud, it was never a problem for myself or family. Lovely town with a lot to see, location is great for people looking to travel around the area.
“Nice Brand New Apartments, with moderate sized pool, in quiet location 300m from desenzo del garda”
Pros: Good sized apartment with open plan living room/kitchen. apartment 3 stars just about right.. Nice but small swimming pool. Quiet resident and safe location. Stayed 2 bed apartment for 5 people, which had sofa bed in living room. Ok location (may require rental car as we had already. about 400metres from desenzo del garda centre. Residence San lorenzo already provides garages for parking. Good train station link if you want to get to venice (2hrs by train) or Milan (1hr). Owners of property took us to train station by car. They even took us to one of the best pizzerias we found throughout our whole trip in italy. Ask them, we highly recommend it. Cons: Train track runs right by the side of the apartments. Dont recommend if youre a light sleeper. Apartments run by owners themselves (has pros and cons, good because its more informal, but they are unexperienced and new at this so expect a more informal italian welcome. Owners are nice: their English is okay, but they tried really hard to be welcoming, friendly and really helpful when we needed anything). You dont get this with agents. Location could be better. If you are purely staying in lake garda and not going any where else in italy like venice, milan, florence etc.. i recommend you stay in sirmione or else go to north west of lake where you get the best views of the lake e.g. limone sul garda. Highly recommend residence san lorenzo if you have a rental car and want to travel around italy to explore.
“Schöne Anlage - Leider mit Zusatzkosten und etwas Zugverkehr”
Die Anlage ist neuwertig. Die Zimmer waren groß und freundlich eingerichtet. Die Gastgeber sind freundlich und hilfsbereit Der Poolbereich ist groß, schön und sauber. Leider waren die Zimmer bei Anreise nicht sauber (Spinnweben, schmierige Spiegel). Des weiteren sollten bei Anreise noch Nebenkosten in Höhe von ca. 25% Prozent der eigentlich Buchungskosten entrichtet werden (Klimaanlage, Sat-Fernsehen, Reinigung), das fanden wir etwas verwirrend.

Sehr schönes und großes Apartment. Alles neu, aber noch etwas schmucklos eingerichtet. Alles total sauber und gepflegt, v.a. der Pool. Kostenlose abschließbare Garagen. Sehr nette Gastgeber. Gute Lage. Sehr empfehlenswert im Bezug auf Preis-Leistung!
“Insgesamt empfehlenswert”
Das Hotel ist ein Apartmenthaus, welches nicht weit vom Zentrum von Desenzano entfernt ist (mit dem Auto ca. 2 Minuten). Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt, auch die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und geräumig. Alle Apartments haben eine Klimaanlage, eine Küche und ein Bad. Man muss allerdings wissen, dass die Anlage direkt an der Bahnstrecke Mailand - Verona liegt, so dass man immer wieder mal einen Zug vorbeifahren hört. Das hat uns aber nicht weiter gestört, da die Bahnstrecke tiefer liegt als das Apartmenthaus und da auch in der Nacht fast keine Züge verkehren. Leider fehlte in unserem Zimmer sowohl ein Fernseher (angeblich in Reparatur) und ein Safe. Von einem "Floor Butler" oder einem Spa haben wir auch nichts gesehen. Die Parkgarage ist schön groß, so dass man keine Probleme hat rein- oder rauszufahren. Zu bemängeln ist nur, dass am Samstag Morgen, als das Hotel komplett ausgebucht war, kein warmes Wasser ging, weil offenbar zu viele Leute gleichzeitig geduscht haben. Also eine halbe Stunden warten, bis das warme Wasser langsam wieder tröpfelte... Bei der Abreise wollte die Hausherrin dann plötzlich 30,- Euro(!) Reinigungspauschale haben. Wir waren etwas überrumpelt, denn davon hatte sie uns bei der Anreise nichts gesagt. Hätten wir das gewussst, hätten wir das Apartment selbst noch gereinigt... Trotz dieser zwei Kritikpunkte ist die Anlage insgesamt empfehlenswert, auch wenn es sich wie erwähnt eben nicht um ein Hotel handelt.
