The breakfast buffet was very good and we enjoyed fresh melons and other fruit, bacon, eggs, good cappuccino and more. The owners are very friendly. Our double room was fine but slightly dated. The ping pong table was unfortunately located in the garage area that had large mosquitoes in it.

Great hotel!
We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Very warm welcoming, great breakfast full of choises and the location was also perfect. Very nice rooms, white and clean. We defenitely recommend to stay there!

Gem of a hotel
We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. Marta and the other lady at reception are the most helpful people I have ever encounted in a hotel. They couldn't do enough help me and give me directions and tell me how to use transportation. They offer the most delicious fresh breakfast with such a variety of options. The hotel is well located near the bus stop, market and plenty of restaurants. Its about a 1km walk down to the lake. Rooms are very clean and comfortable and they have a nice swimming pool to cool off in. Lake Garda is a beautiful area to visit.

Great location and facilities, fantastic breakfast, excellent customer service. Staff was very friendly and welcoming, always available to help us, from sorting a charger for my camera to providing discounts for local attractions? They also helped us book a spa day for me and my husband at the Termi di Sirmione. We stayed 6 days at Hotel International and had a fantastic time. Strongly recommending them.

Would stay again
Good base from which to explore Lake Garda with excellent bus connections to the heart of Sirmione and beyond. Service was good and breakfast each morning adequate. Rooms were clean and had all we required. There's a pool as well although we didn't use this. We often walked one way into Sirmione (3km) and got the shuttle bus which runs every 20 minutes back for 1 Euro.

Lovely, clean hotel close to Lake Garda
The hotel is lovely and clean and staff are friendly, very helpful and knowledgable of local area. Breakfast buffet had lots of choice and fruit was always fresh. We stayed in an economy double room which was big, clean and comfortable. The bathroom was also nice and clean - my only slight negativity is that the shower is not very powerful but that’s a personal preference. I would 100% recommend the hotel. It’s great value and is very central for everything you need exploring Sirmione. It’s also in a super quiet area so no noise from town at night and the shutters in the room ensure absolutely no light wakes you up in the morning. Perfect nights sleep!

Just the one night but had a room in the annexe which was beautiful and very clean. We arrived late and reception was great about staying late for us and sorting us out. Breakfast was lovely and they even gave us a couple of umbrellas the next day as it was raining. Really lovely stay, thank you

It's between Lake Garda and Sirmione. Got a bus to Sirmione town, which is very nice. The breakfast was really good. The overall impression we got was that the owner was ensuring that our stay would be very pleasant, she paid attention to detail and wanted to make sure we were happy with everything. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.

This small hotel is run by the most congenial young lady, Marta, whose attitude and charm are equaled by her great service. The hotel is charmingly decorated, clean and equipped with a small lovely pool area, garden space, and quaint indoor resting nooks. Breakfast is diverse and fresh. Location is central and very convenient.

More than just a hotel!!
We loved our stay in hotel international. The couple who own it were really friendly, welcoming and extremely helpful. It has a lovely swimming pool with plenty of sun loungers. On arrival we were greeted by 2 corona beers in an ice bucket in our room and on a really hot day the couple came out and gave all the guests by the pool a corona .. on the house!! We are a family of 4 and shared a quadruple room which was clean, and totally adequate for our 3 night stay. The area around the hotel is beautiful and the old town of sirmione is easily reached by bus for 1 Euro. The staff are extremely knowledgeable about the local area and are so happy to offer any advice that is needed. We ate out at 3 lovely restaurants locally, La Foresta was amazing, a little pricey but well worth it, Civico 48 where you get 20% off with a card from the hotel and Le Palme which served traditional Italian food. The continental breakfast was spectacular, there was everything from cheese to tiramisu. We would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to visit the beautiful lake Garda.

Excellent accommodation, bus ride to centre
Not having been to Sirmione before, we were surprised how big it was and that a bus or taxi ride was required to get to the most lively area at the tip of the peninsula. At a guess, it's about 2 or 3 miles, probably a 5 minute bus/taxi ride. There are some restaurants and shops near the hotel, but it is not the main tourist area of Sirmione. The hotel itself is fantastic. We stayed in one of the family apartments which is across the road from the main hotel. It was newly refurbished and had plenty of space. We were on the first floor. The main room contained a king size bed, a bunk bed, table and chairs and wardrobe plus TV. There was a small kitchenette with fridge and hob in the next room and then came the bathroom. This contained a shower/basin/toilet/b-day. The only downside was that the toilet was too close to the back of the shower so it was a bit of a squash when sitting on the toilet! Apart from that, excellent facilities. The hotel has a reasonable sized swimming pool surrounded by loungers and tables/chairs. It is surrounded by a high wall (no view). There is also a bar nearby which serves drinks and light snacks (croissants/crisps etc). The hotel staff were very accommodating and polite and couldn't be more helpful when we enquired about tourist attractions etc. Breakfast was very good with a selection of cheese, meats, tomatoes, croissants, bread, poached and boiled eggs, cakes, tea/coffee/juice. We found several supermarkets in the near vicinity.

The Hotel does not have AC and the room had been closed all day with the sun shining on the exterior walls, so it was very hot. We opened the windows and went out for a walk hoping it would cool down....on our return the room was slightly cooler but still uncomfortable to sleep with the windows closed and the loud music from a neighboring establishment made it impossible to sleep with the windows open. Probably a great place to stay earlier or later in the year when is not so hot.

Overall a good hotel. Positives: Well-presented room and facilities. Helpful staff. Chessboard. Negatives: Can't think of any except they couldn't make a vodka martini very well :).

Very nice little hotel. The room is a little bit small, but enough for couple. Free parking in area. The staff very service oriented and friendly, give us advice for daily activity, location of POI. It has very pleasure yard with sitting places. We ordered a lot of bear and coffee during these days. It was nice to sit outside. The pool a little bit small but enough for number of tourists staying in hotel. Breakfast is the same every morning, but it has plenty of meals you can choose: Salami and cheese , buns, butter, pate, salads,fruits, cakes, toasts ,jam,eggs, tee, coffee , juices etc. We leaved early morning and the hostess prepared for us lunch pack with sandwich, fruits and beverages.

excellent friendly staff. rooms very clean. pool area very well maintained.rooms are a little basic and dated but the fridge and aircon worked well. Views from balcony just of surrounding buildings but not a problem for us as did not spend any time in the room.

The bed is not comfortable at all. Felt like army field bed. Other then that, 3 star hotet, nothing more. Breakfast was not bad.

Decent place, not the best location though.
Staff were friendly and very helpful, and the breakfast was great. The only issue with this place was the location, situated a good 40min+ from the main town it was quite a walk to get there. Also our room was located right next to the swimming pool with bathers inches from our window, basically this meant that we could never open the shutters, and it was also pretty noisy. Off-road parking was ok, but very tight and our car actually bottomed-out on the way down the ramp!

good value for money i suppose
The man at reception that greeted us was friendly and helpful. He informed us that the bikes are free and we wish we used them because the walk into Sirmiome was 35 minutes (even though the reception man told us it was 20 minutes). We had a balcony which was a nice surprise and the shower was good. The breakfast was OK. Although when we asked for more boiled eggs they rushed to get them to us as quickly as possible and forgot to cook them fully! I guess you could say it was an honest mistake. Overall we would recommend it but don't expect any luxuries!
