“Our experience there was in general very relaxing.”
On arrival with my elderly mother & a family friend we were met by a nice & also a very arrogant receptionist, this girl was the only negative in our experience there, at one stage she called us a taxi & we ended up paying nearly double the normal price & on asking we were told "it depends on where you were going before we know which company we should call" my reply was obviously, then maybe ask the guests where they are going before you call, this was but one of the many times we were treated as meer annoyances by dear Chr.. ...na, otherwise all the staff were extremely professional, friendly & made our trip there very comfortable, the hotel was extremely clean & well looked after by the maintenance men, in the restaurante Mas? & Co served us & everyone exactly how they wanted to be served, Mas is worth gold to the hotel owners as he makes it all run like clockwork & brings a charm to the hotel which is invaluable, without him my rating would drop 30%, the spa is very lovely & has one of the nicest pools etc I have ever had the pleasure of enjoying, great massage too! Being close to Desenzano is nice but having the small town with local cafes near us helped us experience real Italian life plus enjoy lovely food at a very reasonable price, I would.like to go back with my boyfriend for a few days R&R & to see Mas & his gang again, they made the stay there what it was, unforgettable! :)

“Chillaxing place to be”
From the moment we arrived at the hotel, we felt totally relaxed. The staff were incredible helpful and it was really easy to take the shuttle bus into town or to the station, which was very reasonable. The rooms were very comfortable and very spacious. Breakfast was lovely. Didn't eat in the main restaurant for dinner so can't comment about lunch/dinner. We used the health spa too and the choice of treatments was fantastic. Will def come back again.
“Good hotel - good location”
We booked the Aquaviva as the reviewers on a travel web site all had good experience. They did not dissapoint. The hotel was clean and contemporary. Our bags were taken to and from our room and the not tip was expected. We weren't able to get a room with a lake view although we did get a room with a balcony. This didn't really matter as we were hardly in the room and the hotel bar had a terrace where you can sit and good drink coffee whilst taking in the gorgeous view. The bathroom in our room was huge with a bath big enough for 2 and one could not want for clean towels as these, including pool towels and bath robes, were in abundance. The bed was huge and very confortable. The buffet breakfast had a wide selection which was constantly refreshed. We only ate in the hotel one evening where the food was good alhtough they stopped serving at 9.30pm. The hotel has it's own private beach where there are terraces of sun loungers, spa baths and a bar. The hotel pool was good and also has it's own bar. The hotel staff are friendly although not intrusive and always available when you need them. Although the hotel says is is in Descenzano is is actually in Rivoltella, about a 40 minute stroll either along the road or lake side promenade out of town. It is a quiet little town that can be found just behind the hotel and it is worth exploring the quaint streets some of which wind down to the lake side. A good location to be close but not too close to it all.

Super Ausblick, tolle Zimmer, innen- und außenpool, Sauna, einzigs Manko: Hotel ist durch die straße vom See getrennt. Allerdings führt ein Gang direkt im Hotel zum Strand unter der straße durch.
“Perfect Hotel for people who want luxury and quietness”
The luxury of this Hotel is truly 4 stars. The rooms were large and so was the bathroom. The only thing that was missing was a table and (2) chairs). The rooms were kept clean twice a day. Breakfast was very good. Cold, buffet, warm buffet (bacon, scrambled eggs, toast), serials, pastry etc it was there. The Hotel has a very nice swimming aerea at the lake reachable via a tunnel. and a swimming pool at the back of the hotel. People are very friendly and the hotel is very quiet. Mostly elderly people were present at the time we were there. The Hotel was really top. If there is a minor depending on you preferences than it is the fact that in the evening not much was happening. Once or twice a week music in the lounge bar. For a walk over the boulevard you have to travel to Desencano or Sirmione which is a 10 minute drive but expensive for parking.

Das Hotel ist sehr modern. Der Service ist angenehm und entspricht dem Niveau von 4 Sternen. Die gewählte Zimmerkategorie "Komfort" aus dem expedia Angebot war allerdings ohne Balkon und insbesondere das Bad war deutlich kleiner als bei allen übrigen Zimmern. Empfehlung lautet also unbedingt Zimmer mit Balkon wählen. Lage und Aussicht wäre mir wenger wichtig.
