“You will not want to leave this hotel!”

We had a lovely stay at this hotel, as it was brand new, it was very fresh and clean. The pools inside and out were fantastic, and the staff were very helpful and friendly. I would love to come back to this holtel.

“A great holiday!”

Could not fault this place. We went there to celebrate my mum's 60th birthday. Location very central- 5 mins walk from centre of town. Warm welcome with glass of prosecco on arrival. Lovely room and British TV channels- great! All the facilities are lovely, including the pools and saunas. The fitness room has everything you need although only open 9am-12.30pm and 2pm-6.30pm: I think the opening hours could be a bit better. The breakfast had a great selection to choose from, including sugar free and also gluten free options. There is also prosecco at breakfast should you wish. The dinner we ate there a few nights was 25euros per person. It was well worth it for a self service selection of appetisers followed by 3-4 choices of primi and secondi piatti then self service selection of desserts and cheeses etc. All of the staff are very helpful. They have no computer for guests to access the internet- a bit strange... so if you need internet access, bring your own computer and use their wifi. A great stay. We did not want to leave. Thank you!

“Lovely retreat for a couple looking to relax”

We had a short stay in this hotel for our honeymoon and the staff were very welcoming. The spa & pool facilities were very good and the gym was excellent compared to other hotel gyms that I have seen. All the facilities were new and everything looked smart and clean. The breakfasts in the hotel were buffet-style with a wide selection on offer. I would recommend the hotel to anyone looking for a quiet and peaceful retreat with a bit of luxury.

“Highly recommended”

When we arrived we were greeted with a glass of Prosecco while we waited for our room to be ready as we had arrived a little early. We were then told we had a room upgrade to a suite, which was fantastic. We only had to wait about 10 minutes for the room and within half an hour of being in our room a plate of fruit, nicely presented, was sent up to us, which was a lovely touch! The hotel was clean and the staff friendly. The pool area was lovely and the breakfast was amazing with plenty of choice. The price of drinks was reasonable and the cocktails were delicious! The hotel was located only a short walk from the center of Bardelino where there is a huge choice of restaurants and bars and where there are good transport links to other areas of Lake Garda and Verona. We would highly recommend this hotel and hope to be back some day! Thank you for a great holiday!

“What a find!”

We booked this hotel rather last minute, based on the outstanding reviews to date since it opened a couple of months ago. The hotel is cleverly designed so that it works well for both families and couples alike - there are several pools and sun bed areas meaning you don't ever feel like you're staying at some enormous hotel, yet you get the benefit of larger hotel facilities: beautiful swimming pools (indoor & outdoor) pool bar great indoor spa This, coupled with the fact that it's a 5 min walk to the impossibly quaint and pretty lakeside town of Bardolino, with a great selection of (reasonably priced) restaurants and gelaterias made it a wonderful break. And to top it all off we didn't see one chav all week! We would go back in a heartbeat..

“Great hotel!!!!”

The hotel opened for business on 1st June this year. Clearly the planners thought of everything, the leisure facilities are second to none and the staff are both friendly and conversant in the the three languages that are common to the area. The receptionists were able to help with all of my requests eg hire car and taxis without any issues and I could not fault their professionalism. Without doubt we shall return next year and stay longer as we discovered it's an ideal base to discover Northern Italy.

“Molto Buono”

Took a chance when we booked as the hotel had not even opened, relied on the information on the website and cgi photos, the chance paid off. Quietly located 5 mins walk from Bardolino restaurants/shops/bars/water front, well designed and presented with ample underground parking. The staff were very professional and welcoming, concierge offering chilled water and prosecco on arrival, a very welcome treat after a delayed flight and rising temperatures. Although the hotel wasn't finished in its entirety, (by no means was it a building site), it didn't take anything away from what we were after and that is certainly what we got, a fantastic hotel and facilities, excellent friendly service, divine food and wine and even 10 days of sunshine. Drinks at the hotel were reasonably priced and the appertisers served were wonderful, mostly we just wanted another drink just to try and have more. All the staff were friendly and we were always greeted with a smile and a good morning/evening. Dined in 'Drops Restaurant' a couple of evenings, extensive classy wine menu - great barolo! the food was lovely, excellent service again. Buffet breakfast - plenty to choose from. Made good use of the swimming spa pools, though be careful in the spa pools as there are walls around the steps and are coloured the same as the floor making them difficult to see. Plenty of sun lounges and shade, towels and robes provided in room. A fabulous relaxing holiday, we can't wait to return! 10/10

“5 star experience”

The hotel was fantastic, the staff very friendly, food was excellent especially the a la carte. The hotel is in a perfect location about 5 mins to the lake front with loads of shops and cafes along the way. There are a couple of english channels on the tv in your room, and the bed was huge and very comfortable. Towels and bedding could be changed everyday if you needed them. Pool towels were supplied so no need to take your own. All round 5 star hotel and quality.

“Fantastic new hotel”

We stayed at Aqualux for 10 nights in July as a party of 2 adults and 2 children (8 and 6 years). This is a lovely hotel recently opened offering modern, clean and comfortable rooms. The staff were always extremely polite and helpful. There are 8 pools to enjoy - inside and out - including a small 'lazy river', baby pool, infinity pool and jaccuzzi beds etc. Breakfast is first class - eggs made any way to order #but be prepared to wait# and you can make your own fresh fruit/veg juice. The location of the hotel is great - a 5 min walk down the road and you are on the edge of the town and a further few minutes walk takes you to the lake. We visited some of the other towns but have to say that Bardolino was by far our favourite as it is less commercial/busy and mostly pedestrianised. We enjoyed the numerous Italian restaurants and ice cream shops. The 'train' ride around the town was a hit with the kids. Easy to catch the boat or catamaran to other towns. The location is also close to Gardaland and other theme parks. The only very slight negatives about the hotel is that the bed was a little on the hard side and the comfort room is a little cramped for a family of 4, but has a good size double bed and sofa bed. We had a nice balcony but absolutely no view so did not feel like sitting out much. Try to get a pool view if you can. All in all a lovely hotel in a great location to explore the south east of the lake.
