“Great for visiting Temecula”

We were looking for hotels in Temecula and everything we came across was at least double what we paid at the Holiday Inn Express in Lake Elsinore. If you're looking to spend a couple of days wine tasting in Temecula and don't want to burn your money on accommodations, check out Lake Elsinore. The Holiday Inn Express was perfect. It had good fwy access. And it was less than 15 minutes away from the vineyards.

“Above and Beyond!”

This is such a nice quiet and clean hotel. The staff is so friendly and helpful. We have stayed there before and will continue to do so in the future.

“Holiday stay”

The hotel was clean , comfy, and quiet. The hotel's complimentary breakfast had an impressive selection, however the hot breakfast selection was somewhat cold and appeared not to be fully cooked. Other than the breakfast experience, the hotel rates were competitive and my family and I would stay here again.

“Needs Improvement”

First impression was good but faltered at the end. The room was clean and very impressive. Things seems to be at tip top shape. However, it didn't stay that way. When we got back from our friend's wedding the parking lot was full and we could not find a space to park. I went in and the person on duty took about 5 minutes or so to respond at the front. I had to ask if we could park at the neighboring lot area to make sure it was safe to park and not get "towed." We finally got back to the room and the thermostat was not working. We tried everything and followed the directions and the AC would not function properly. We spent the whole night having only outside air going into our room. We didn't get any proper rest after having a very long day. Not sure what happened but the hotel had no proper responses to me after I mentioned to them the issue with the room thermostat that controlled the AC unit. It was so close but no cigar. I was going to recommend the hotel but after a very disappointing night it's difficult for me to do so now.

“Cheerful, Clean, Comfortable, Convenient”

Up-to-date rooms including plugs everywhere, nice breakfast that included sausage and eggs, a pleasant place to stay.

“Would Try Again”

We were looking for a quick getaway to Temecula and planned our a trip a little too late to stay right in wine country. We ended up at the Holiday Inn in Lake Elsinore and found the hotel to be clean, comfortable, and conveniently located. The hotel is only about a 15 minute drive from Temecula and priced much lower than hotels directly in the area. I would definitely stay there again.

“Great Last Minute Holiday Stay”

We booked a King suite and when we arrived they gave us a king size bed room so we called and they immediately apologized and transferred us up to the suite. They were very accommodating & extremely helpful to guide us to the wine countryside area of Temecula.

“Exactly what I hoped it would be”

My friend and I took a little weekend getaway to spend time doing crafts (away from kids and all that good stuff) and basically we needed a nice big space to set up a long table and all our stuff. The room was perfect for us! It had a ton of room for everything we needed, plus extra room that we didn't really even use. The room was very spacious and had lots of light. It was comfy overall and I felt like it was clean and kept in great condition. The front desk was nice and very helpful. The breakfast was good, too. It wasn't anything super special, but it had everything you need for your basic breakfast. There aren't a ton of restaurants in Lake Elsinore itself, but just a short drive south on the I-15 will take you to Murrieta and there are lots of things to do there. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

“Sparkling clean, new, friendly locale in Lake Elsinore”

Everyone at this newly renovated and updated hotel was wonderful. They were accommodating in a room change request, helpful with directions and suggestions, warm and welcoming. The indoor pool wasn't open, which was a disappointment, but the room was clean and well appointed and the bed was so comfy! It was 5 minutes to the baseball stadium, my reason for visiting, and convenient to the I-15 and routes north and south. I'll definitely stay there when I return!
