we had to move rooms as the first had faulty shower, no hot water and a plug which did not hold water in the sink - we were told by the member of staff that they had had complaints about this before., it could have been resolved by fitting a new sink waste and considering that standard of this hotel I was surprised it had not been done. The room we then moved to was lovely with everything in working order. There is also a £10 a day charge for parking which was also surprising considering the cost of the stay
The overall stay was very pleasant however they Daffodil is missing small touches which would elevate the hotel and its customer experience to the next level. The front of house service in the dining room needs to be improved, there needs to be better leadership within the team. Food was exceptional. Room location was noisy as it was next to the main air vents, the room was also missing a bed side table and hand towels, the side table was not replaced during our stay even though it was pointed out, the air con was a bit hit and miss and the shower temperature also fluctuated between hot and cold. Great location and grounds.
Stayed for one night hotel and staff excellent, the only thing that spoiled the stay was a wedding at the venue, the wedding wasn't a problem it was the guests that decided to party in their room until 2am with loud singing and cheering,so not too much sleep.
We stayed in the superior room which is in the annex next to the hotel. Very nice room. Quiet and private as it's set away from the main hotel. Staff are extremely friendly! Would recommend to anyone to stay here.
The hotel is beautifully presented and tastefully furnished .. we wanted a meal in the restaurant shortly after arriving and unfortunately they seemed short staffed ..the waitress said can you go to the bar for your drinks because I'm busy! It didn't spoil anything though..quite funny really. Having said that the staff were working hard but a hotel should have enough cover really. Drinks were really expensive!

The multitude of lakes and tarns give the park a stunningly unique landscape, which visitors can take in during a slow ramble or whilst enjoying one of the area's many recreational facilities.
