“Would recommend”

Hotel was clean + tidy, staff were friendly. Breakfast was good, plenty of choice. Restaurant in hotel served good tasty food. Within walking distance to the lake, approx 20-25 minutes, (with plenty of shops etc on the way!) which is not far.

“Nice hotel but a bit out of town.”

The hotel is a longer walk from the lake and town than it suggests however if you have a car it is in a great location. The staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel was kept claen and tidy.

“Lokoking forward to going back”

This hotel is a great base for visiting Como, granted you dont wake up to a view of the lake, but the 20 min walk into town is well worth it. Staff were friendly and helpful, room was cleaned well each day and hotel was airy and clean. The only disappointment is the breakfast . . if you like cheese and ham everyday you will be ok, but if not you will have a bit of problem. Would return to this hotel definetely.

Traveller's tip
From Linate airport get ticket for bus and metro 1 euro each take 73 bus to San Bibila then metro to Cardorna station 4 stops. Train to Como nord and get off at Como Nord Bourghi approx 50 mins then hotel 15 mins walk

“Too over priced”

The hotel was ok, nothing special. Eating the same things for breakfast every morning was a bit bland. The hotel at night is very noisy due to the tiled floors and wooden chairs with no rubber ends on the legs. You can hear every movement. The iron spiral stair case going right up through the hotel echos immensely and sleep was disturbed on more than one night. im sure for the price we paid there are better hotels out there. just to put this in perspective im not one to complain ever and let allot of things go in everyday life, but effecting sleep on a holiday... tut tut.

“friendly hotel tucked away”

hotel was friendly and helpful, a reasonable walk from the old city and lake - but tucked away down a lane and therefore very quiet - good choice if you can't afford the expensive lake front hotels

make sure you visit La Tessitura, Viale Roosevelt, for silk scarf bargains

“Habe nicht mehr erwartet”

Mittelklassehotel, das in einer unschönen Gegend liegt. Für 2-3 Übernachtungen OK. Man kann zu Fuß in ca. 15-20' bis zum See laufen. Das Hotel ist insgesamt ein sauberes Hotel, das Frühstück ist OK und die Lautstärke hält sich in Grenzen. Es war so wie ich es erwartet hatte.

“Unhöfliches”

Das Hotel liegt ruhig oberhalb von Como City. 20 Gehminuten bis zum Centrum. Für Durchreisende bedingt empfehlenswert. Wir waren 4 Personen für eine Woche und wurden vom Personal selten begrüßt. Das Frühstücksbuffet hatte einen Waren-Wert von zusammen 10,- € Man kann keine Extras - z.b. Eier, Speck Salami, Wurst etc. bestellen. Wir haben uns im Supermarkt Wurst, Salami, Schinken etc. gekauft und mit zum Frühstück ausgepackt. Das Bier an der Bar war ungekühlt. Morgens und Abend zu Stoßzeiten war das Duschwasser kalt. Fernsehsender nur in Italienisch. Das Haus ist sehr hellhöhrig. Minibarprodukte extrem teuer. Ein Pkw Parkplatz kostet pro Nacht 10,-€

Lieber in Meran Urlaub machen. Weniger Straßenverkehr und freundliche Menschen

“Hotel molto carino, pulito e confortevole”

Abbiamo soggiornato all'hotel Larius a como per 3 giorni. Struttura ben tenuta, con pulizia ed ordine delle camere eccellente. Buon buffet a colazione e personale molto carino, competente e disponibile. L'hotel dista a 5 minuti a piedi dal centro di Como, dal quale prendere i vari battelli per il tour del lago. Consigliato per un bel week end romantico!
