The hotel staff couldn't have been more helpful. For our family of 3 we had a large suite with 2 bedrooms, a living room and one bathroom for a reasonable price plus our room had a lovely view. The hotel chef made excellent breakfasts and dinners; one of the best restaurants in Bled. We were just a block or so away from the boat house where we could take a small boat to the island or rent a rowboat.
All I can say is....WOW! The view of the lake and the hotel front desk, "Nina" made this the best part of our trip! I asked for Nina's help, as far as how to get from Bled, Slovenia to Budapest, Hungary. Boy, did she go above and beyond for us! She looked up which bus to take from Bled, she recommended what time we should leave the hotel, which train to take from Slovenia, how many train stops we would have, what time we should take the bus to ensure we made for the train, etc. It was so confusing looking up this stuff, and God ends up giving me Nina! We encountered many friendly people while in Europe, but by far, Nina was the nicest, friendliest one of all. When I encounter people like Nina, it makes me realize that there's still nice people out there, and that I should pass it on.

We stayed in Triglav for two nights before our wedding in Bled. The room was spotless, had a fabulous balcony, and huge bath tub. The staff is exceedingly friendly. Yes, it is located away from town, so if you want to go into town daily, it will require a 20 minute walk around the lake, including a steep portion at the very beginning. But, it is the perfect spot if you are looking to gave a romantic getaway and want to simply relax. Highly recommended!

This was such a great stay! We booked a one-night stay at the hotel and didn't know what to expect. It's a small villa and the main floor is a (delicious) restaurantm, so it looks quite different from the larger hotels around the lake. We were happy to stay somewhere with more character, and the location couldn't have been more perfect. The hotel also has a terrace facing the lake, which was great for dinner and breakfast.
The service was great. They were flexible, accommodating, and very pleasant despite being very busy at the restaurant.
I would highly recommend the villa to anyone and hope to stay again on future visits. It only has a few rooms so good luck scoring one of them!

We were impressed from the moment we arrived. The staff were excellently helpful and their English was so good (essential for us where we speak no other languages). Any request was no trouble. The rooms were large and all had balconies, we had 4 rooms, all overlooking the lake, each large enough to seat all 5 of us. Never had such a good view from a hotel window.
We didn't try the spa treatments but the swimming pool(s) were excellent with a large variety, together with ample space to sit and soak up the sun and the view. The hotel is part of a chain and so our two boys were also able to use the gym of a neighbouring hotel 100 yards away free of charge.
The hotel also arranges trips and can book you in on various activities if you so wish at reasonable rates. There is plenty to do in the area although we mostly stayed relaxing around Bled and on the lake, next time we will see the surrounding towns and a trip or two in the mountains.
Hotel breakfast was amazing in terms of variety. from cold meats, to cereals, cooked bacon and eggs, pancakes, vegetables, fruit, pastries........ We didn't try the hotel main meals but ate out of an evening, (there is a good deal of variety of cuisine in Bled ) but everything we saw (and smelt) led us to think this would be excellent in the hotel too.

The Park Hotel Bled offer many rooms facing the lake with small but entirely adequate balconies. Waking up each morning and returning each evening to these spectacular views of the lake, castle, chapel island and towering Julian Alps is altogether unforgettable. The common areas in this hotel are first-rate and the buffet breakfast rivals any 5-star hotel we have experienced. Some of the criticisms found in other reviews are accurate: the A/C is not up to American standards and the rooms are cleaned with an odd-smelling disinfectant that is somewhat unpleasant. There is a great deal of noise outside virtually all night long. But these are minor quibbles when measured against the amazing experience this property provides. We have stayed here twice with great pleasure and will be taking a group of 100 persons there next summer. Does that speak adequately for our love of the place? And I have not yet mentioned that this is by far the best "deal" on the lake. Look no further.

Great location 5 mins from Lakeside. Our room didn't have a view of the lake but each floor had a comfortable seating area at a full size window with a wonderful view. We didn't use this, we just got out there. The Staff were very friendly, the dining room was very attractive with lake views and breakfast was outstanding with a great choice of cooked and continental. Everything plentiful, fresh and inviting. The housekeeping was excellent, shower room was modern and kept spotless. There was a swimming pool and spa facilities but we had too much to see and do to use either
