“AD”

Nice well kept place that seems to be pretty new. Have stayed there are few times and would again.

Area recommendations

Had family in from out of town for the Gumbo Cookoff. Not much else to do in New Iberia besides a few tours.

“La Quinta in Cane Country”

Easy access from Hiway 90. Clean room, comfortable bed, high speed WiFi, good breakfast selection for this type of hotel, good cable TV package. I will stay here again.

“missouri traveler”

This hotel was very nice. Looked like it was new! The room was beautiful and the breakfast was great! The gals at the front desk were very helpful in suggesting places to visit!

Area recommendations

Of course Avery Island. They have a beautiful Jungle Garden area and then the gals at the front desk suggested the Rip Van Winkle House and that was well worth the short trip out there. Beautiful house and wonderful gardens. The South at it's best. We were there on a Sunday so The Shadows on the Teche was closed but we have been there before and really enjoyed it. This would be a great location for a base for more side trips to Southern Plantions. I want to go back and tour all the mansions in the area!

I really enjoyed my stay. The room was very clean. The breakfast selection was nice too!
