We chose this hotel over Terme Manzi because of its history (Elizabeth Taylor, etc). It has all necessary comforts (including very useful port transportation upon arrival and departure), very good breakfast with sea view, fantastic spa facility and service (Signiora Constanza - head of the Spa is lovely lady, speaks very good English and is very helpful in arranging all your treatments). One of the reception staff (sorry, forgot his name) is extremely helpful and very very nice - he helped us with everything we needed (tickets, arrangements, etc.).
We had one very unpleasant experience with unexpected fireworks that absolutely sounded like gunshots during the first night of our stay. They came around 1am for about 15min I was scared like hell. The hotel manager afterwards apologized and explained that this is a very usual thing - fireworks at various occasions (there was a wedding at our hotel that night), and they don't let the guests know as this is such a normal practice in that area. So just be warned in case you hear that noise - this is not shooting and no terrorists, this is just a part of some celebration.
Other than that - absolutely enjoyed our stay. The hotel is somewhat 50s design but has all necessary facilities.

Staff was great! Very helpful. Walter was a standout at the front desk! Always had a smile, and offered plenty of insight into the local area. Made the visit amazing!

Good points: friendly helpful staff, lovely view from room, clean and comfortable
Bad points: actually just outside Lacco Ameno, the locals didnt know where it was, and the taxi driver who took us there ripped us off. No lift and I ruptured myself on the last day.
The Hotel Grazia Terme is located on a hillside with Mount Epomeo in the background. The grounds are beautiful with a wonderful large pool and terrace overlooking the Mediterranean. The desk staff speaks excellent English while the rest of the staff have limited to no English language skills. I wished I planned my trip to to stay more than two days. The hotel has wonderful spa facilities with many different types of treatments.
An excellent hotel for all age groups. Nice pool with poolside bar, excellently situated for shops, beach, transport. They have their own minibus to take you to a lovely beach cove and thermal spa at various times of the day. They have a very good full board price (but that means you would have to stick around or be back to the hotel for lunch)or just b & b. We ate there some evenings and food very good. Waiters and staff very eager to please. Unfortunately, if you do not speak Italian, then it is difficult to get information as the English of the main receptionist is apparently non existent. This made it awkward for us at times because our Italian was worse than basic and we were given wrong information - or none at all.
