“The place to stay in La Paz”

Our room was spotless, had a great sea view and had everything we needed. The wifi worked well an important aspect of travel these days. The staff were friendly and efficient and one of them carried all our luggage up to the 3rd floor as the elevator was being serviced. Dinner at the hotel restaurant on the water was delicious. We will definitely stay here again

“great option for the price”

it is the closest hotel to the beach (15 min walk) but a little far from downtonw (40 min walk) it is quite new and the rooms are comfortable and clean, the swimming pool is nice but the water wasn't cristal clear, I think because thats the way the running water is in la paz. It's ideal if you have a car on byciclie because the taxi service is expensive (about 20 dlls a short ride).

We were very pleased with this hotel. It was clean and the staff were very nice. Good location. Restaurant and bar were very good also. We only stayed 1 evening but would come back for a longer stay.

“Comfortable, Clean and a fantastic view”

Marina Hotel is a 30 minute walk (or 5-minute taxi) to La Paz along a gorgeous waterfront Malecon frequented by families, couples and lots of people just out enjoying the night. The hotel was quiet and has a lovely courtyard.

“Wonderful hotel, great service. Save the parakeets”

My girlfriend and I had a very positive experience with this hotel. Alberto at the front desk was tremendously helpful, and assisted us in booking a tour of the Espíritu Santo island. Our room cleaner, Guille was super friendly, respectful, and did a wonderful job. The rooms were spotless. The employees in general are very friendly. For example, when we had to go to the 5th floor we noticed that the employees would ride up to the 5th floor with us, then go back down to the floor they needed to go to. I don't know if that is a Mexican thing in general or just hotel policy. But we considered this very polite. We didn't eat at the hotel, since people didn't seem to recommend it. My one complaint is that they need to take better care of the parakeets. I felt that the lovely parakeets were in a cage with stagnant, filthy water and that they were not well maintained. They are living creatures and deserve fresh water every day, especially in such tropical climates. Overall I had a great experience. However, note that my experience was that of a fluent Spanish speaker.. I don't know what the situation would be like for someone who doesn't speak Spanish.

“Good all around Hotel by the boats.”

It was quite a surprise to find a decent hotel for the price. This is no elegant or extravagant place, just an all around good place to stay in La Paz. I recommend this place for travelers who are looking for a centric by the marina hotel and that is walking distance to the Main strip (El Malecón). Staff is OK but not great, good price, rooms are simple and clean, flat screen, ok bathrooms, nice pool and hot tub, the elevator is small but gets you there, the on site restaurant is decent but no Michellin star; with a very friendly staff and good portions and decent price compared to its neighbors. Only drawback is some cats that linger around the marina and it can get a little noisy at night with people walking in and out of their rooms. My girlfriend and I had a great time at this nice, clean and simple place. We rather spend our money on tours and dinning than an expensive hotel experience.

“Nice hotel”

This was a decent hotel on the marina in La Paz. The restaurant had wonderful food. Rooms were cleaned by 9am. It's an older hotel so don't expect much. Due to tile floors it can be noisy during late night or early mornings with baggage rolling along. Great place to leave your luggage and explore, but not the best if you want to stay in your room all day. Easy access to Malecon (boardwalk) for jogging or running. Small, but nice pool area with lots of trees, flowers, birds; covered hot tub. Worth returning to. Easy to find from airport. One of the closer hotels to driving to beaches.
