We had a lovely time at Ecolodge. The rooms and garden were quite special with great character. We even had our own little garden space with a view of Lake Titicaca. Our only problem was the climb up through the garden to our room as we had to stop to regain our breath because we are not used to the altitude!
The owner was very helpful giving us lifts into town. Ecolodge was a 20min walk from the town which we knew before but it was worth that little inconvenience.
The breakfast was lovely, with a variety of fresh fruit, cheese and ham etc.
Checkin was easy once we got to the house, located on the 5th floor. It was a bit confusing BUT once there, so worth it. The description is spot on and the amenities are amazing. Reminded me of the Vdara in Vegas - very posh!
What can I say? This hotel was the highlight of our trip - from every aspect! We booked a room with a king bed - we ended up getting a 2 bedroom suite with 2 bathrooms and a kitchenette. Wi-fi was superb in the room. There was a very well-stocked refrigerator and 2 free drinks per night we stayed. There was an excellent business centre with all the amenities in order to keep current and get things done! The service was off the chart! We had planned most things but we had a lot we wanted to accomplish including a day where we wanted to get to Copacabana, Isla del Sol and Tiahuanacu all in one day. They arranged a driver and he stayed with us all day from a 5am start to end of day - back at about 7pm. A little later in our trip we needed a car to Oruro and they arranged that too! Room service was great, breakfast buffet was great and included in the price of the room. After a two day trip to Cusco, Machu Picchu, we returned to the hotel - my boyfriend was not feeling well and having back problems - they arranged for a masseuse to come to the room and it gave him the relief he needed to keep up our busy, physically demanding schedule... While we were away in Cusco for two days, we left our luggage in their care and we simply took our backpacks and were able to travel light - that was great as well....
Restaurant next door, Charlie Papa's, was great as well. I cannot say enough about this hotel - we were home away from home! Comfortable & every amenity!

Great central hotel with friendly staff. We had to leave early each morning but they provided packed lunch for our breakfast.
Staff also assisted with directions around town and went as far as to walk us early one morning to our starting point for bike tour.
