On the Bay of Algeciras, La Linea is a low-key resort and overspill residential area for the citizens of Gibraltar. Its seafront includes two long sandy beaches. Just inland is Casares, one of Andalusia’s most charming and photographed ipueblos blancos/i (white villages). Nearby, Castellar de la Frontera is another picturesque village.
