“staying there again this coming weekend”

The Best Western Ashbury was a welcome surprise. I have paid more in Louisville,Ky. for much less space and acccomadation. There was a large comfy chair and love seat plus a desk, microwave, fridge, wifi, flatscreen etc.

Area recommendations
Lagrange is a very quaint and cozy town about 20 mins from downtown. Exit 22 off of 71.
Dining
Cute Italian restaurant on 53 called Steveo's. Flower nursery shop next door with beautiful seasonal flowers and Janet is the owner.

“Will never return!”

This was our 2nd visit. The first time they did not clean the room. Explained it away as a computer glitch. Had our room listed as unoccupied. Let that one go. This past visit, the air conditioner filter was filthy and would not cool the room. Once again they did not clean our room. However we left the housekeeping sign out on our door and when we returned the sign was lying on the vanity counter top and there were cigarette butts in the floor by the bed. I was told I would have to talk with the manager about it. I tried to the next morning at check out, he was rude and dismissive. Will never go back to that hotel.
