Open-air bamboo showers are supplied with solar powered hot water and biodegradable soap. Rooms have wooden floors, a small sitting area, and original artwork. Beds have a gauze mosquito-net covering. Thatched-roof ceilings. No electrical outlets, phones, or TVs.

El Cantarito - The hotel's rustic main restaurant is built on stilts over the estuary. It has a wooden floor, thatched-roof, and ceiling fans. The walls are painted a mellow yellow and decorated with local handicrafts and paintings. Blue leather handcrafted chairs. Bar modeled after an old-time drugstore, with an assortment of beers and liquors along the wall rather than medicines. Breakfast and dinner.

Nopalito - Nopalito is the hotel's ultra-casual beach club. It has a palapa roof and wooden furniture and offers lunch and tropical drinks in an al fresco beachside location.
