“Perfect location on coast.”

Very good hotel. Excellent food and healful staff. Very good location on headland next to Tower of Hercules.

“Great Location”

We were really impressed with the Eurostars La Coruna, we didn't arrive until 10.15pm but checking was easy and our room although not large was clean and well presented and with what turned out to be a great view out to sea. The staff were helpful & friendly although not all spoke much English so the knowledge of basic Spanish is helpful. I found the Hotel easily even at night, just head for Torres de Hercules and turn right at the roundabout just before Torres de Hercules. There are small beaches all around and larger ones further around the bay past Hercules & Finisterrae Aquarium which are both well worth a visit. We ate most mornings & evenings in the Hotel restaurant and the quality & price were excellent, the variety and abundance of the breakfast meant setting yourself up for the day was easy,enjoyable and cheap! I was really pleased with my choice of Hotel having never stayed in La Coruna before, it was only a 15 minute drive from the airport and the quality of this Hotel is of a high standard. The only downside is the lack of parking spaces in the car park, although there is parking near by so not really a problem in early sept. I would definitely return to this lovely Hotel in the future and would recommend both the Hotel and the City of La Coruna.

“Clean, modern hotel”

I stayed in the Eurostars Ciudad de la Coruna for a week at the end of May, and would happily recommend this hotel. The hotel is on the edge of the town, overlooking the cliffs and two small beaches. Although a 20 minute walk to the centre of town, this was worth it for the excellent location. There is free parking in a small car park on site, and plenty of parking in the street outside, directly overlooked by the hotel. Most of the rooms have a sea view. The hotel is large. The room was plenty large enough, clean and modern. The whirlpool bath is an added bonus. It is also quiet, due to the location and the fact that - as the hotel was nowhere near full - the guests seemed to be spread out - there was no one in the adjoining rooms to mine all week.

“Amenities”

The hotel was clean and in a nice location. It is quiet and a little out of town. The views from the rooms are beautiful. I opened my window to see topless women tanning on the beach. Lovely, really. Staying a little further away from the traffic was nice. It's 5-10 Euros for a Taxi out of the Centro to the hotel. The restaurant opens when they feel like. There is a small room service menu but when I called - they only had scrambled eggs. That wasn't even on the menu! The desk has minimal English skills.

“Beautiful Location”

Beautiful location and hotel!!! Just make sure you don't make reservations during the teenage boys soccer tournment. The hotel was filled with boys who were very noisy.

“Zeit für eine Rebovierung”

Grundsätzlich ein gutes Hotel, allerdings war der Zustand des Zimmers schlicht renovierungsbedürftig.

“Großes Hotel ohne Flair”

Hotel in wenig ansprechener Gegend. Kein gemütliche Sitzecke oder Restaurant im Haus. Frühes Schließen der kleinen Bar (23Uhr) im ungemütlichen Foyer. Räume sehr hellhörig. Für längere Aufenthalte nicht zu empfehlen.

“Hotel Eurostars Ciudad de la Coruna, een oase van rust aan een mooie baai in de Atlantische Oceaan”

Wij boekten dit hotel, vanwege de ligging niet ver van Santiago de Compostela, om onze echtgenoten na een tocht van 7 weken (de Zilverroute)te verwelkomen. Er is een prima (bus-) en treinverbinding met Santiago en La Coruna leek ons een geschikte plaats om te relaxen. De treinverbinding met Santiago is inderdaad prima en in het prachtige park aan de overkant van het hotel was het heerlijk relaxen. Het park, c.q. de kuststrook is verfraaid met beelden en voorzien van banken. Met een boekje is het er heerlijk toeven en genieten van het uitzicht op de oceaan. De kwaliteits- prijsverhouding van het hotel is goed, al vonden wij het buffet op de eerste avond matig. Wij gebruikten er geen ontbijt, omdat wij de prijs hiervoor (10 euro p.p.) te hoog vonden. Op 5 minuten loopafstand kan in een caf'e/restaurant voor 3 euro p.p. worden ontbeten met heerlijke koffie/thee en verse broodjes. De stad is te voet bereikbaar langs een mooie boulevard in ongeveer 15 minuten en dan kun je kiezen uit een groot aantal restaurants. Van harte kan ik dit hotel aanbevelen aan Santiago-gangers en aan mensen die Noord-Spanje willen verkennen. Het is er heerlijk toeven!
