Everyone was very helpful. The rooms were decent, but the beds are hard. The restaurants are very over priced.

Room is spacious. Hotel is not close to subway station but has shuttle. Breakfast buffet is pricey and doesn’t have non-dairy milk

Pleasant stay but the hotel caters mostly to locals. The rooms are a bit dated but large! The property somewhat far and not easily accessible to an area of restaurants. In general would pick a different hotel for the amount they charge.

One of the nicest hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Staff were incredible helpful, place was immaculate. Very quiet and night too. The bed was one of the comfiest I’ve ever slept in. Will definately be returning here when in Kyoto next!

What an amazing hotel, we felt like royalty as soon as we walked in. The staff is very observant, kind and helpful. Check in and out was easy and quick. The room was clean and very big. They stocked it well with everything you would need. The restaurant and cafe are delish. I definitely recommend staying at this hotel when visiting Kyoto. It is about a 11 minute walk to the train station but they always have taxis waiting to take you anywhere you may need or they’ll call a taxi for you if needed. Great service, good food and amazing hotel.

Excellent hotel. Great service. Big and modern and very nice room and very nice bathroom with a tub. Breakfast at the western style buffet was very good. It is situated in a quite neighborhood few blocks from Kyoto Imperial park.Highly recommended.

Pros - Excellent Rooms, spacious, new & clean - Excellent daily room cleaning - Excellent staff - Shuttle service to a subway station with fix schedule Cons -Location, 12 minutes walk from nearest subway station - No food options in walking distance from Hotel - TV has only Japanese channels - No microwave or ice machine on the floor. You have to call room service to Everytime to use microwave

It’s in a middle of a residential area - the hotel shows up out of nowhere in my mind lol The hotel though was AMAZING and the kids loved taking the Japanese bath (splash over)

We Love the staff, excellent service, , quick to respond to request. The room is clean and roomy. 4 stars on area around the property because it’s quite far from businesses/shopping otherwise it’s a very nice hotel. It’s still highly recommended.

Was a nice retreat from being in Shinjuku for a week. Made for easy day trips to Nara and Osaka. Staff were polite and very accommodating. Rooms were spacious and had a good workspace for checking into office.

The hotel staff were so helpful after my wife broke her foot - they helped us to get to the right hospital and then for the days after made a wheelchair available to us that meant we were still able to go to all the places we were hoping to visit.

The hotel is beautiful and the staff is welcoming and helpful and go out of their way to help answer andy question. The restaurants are varied, and the breakfast buffet is excelent.

We were recommended the hotel by a friend. It was quiet and the room was spacious. I was disappointed by the lack of an onsen however. The choices offered at the breakfast buffet was also not as wide as expected.

Beautiful luxury hotel that’s literally 2 min from the imperial palace. Public transport is super easy from the hotel and the staff are very helpful. Can’t recommend enough.

The Kyoto Brighton Hotels was awesome, first of all I want to point out the excellent work from all the staff, they were amazing, helpful and polite at all times, the room was great in size and really clean. I really enjoyed my stay at the Hotel the main city is 20 mins away from the Hotel but that wasnt a problem since the Hotel offers a free shuttle bus service to the nearest station and of course taxis are available outside the hotel as well. Overall this Hotel was amazing and once again the attention to the customer provided by the staff is A .

We had stayed in the Premium room. Excellent room which was very spacious, stocked with all amenities and had a great view. The housekeeping was flawless. Robes and kits were provided everyday. The staff was welcoming and very polite. We availed of taxis easily for sightseeing. We liked the quiet and calm surroundings.Close to a lot of historic sites as well. Currency exchange was on site.
