PERFECT smaller hotel 1 minute across Kyoto Station. Friendly staff. Free breakfast. Quiet. Convenient to everything. Definitely staying here again for the price also.

Room is a bit small, cannot find any USB charging port, but otherwise very good, right opposite to Kyoto train station, clean, nice staff member that speaks very good English.

Booked this hotel at the last minute and was very happy with our choice. Directly across the street from Kyoto Station, very convenient-everything was within a 5-minute walk. Staff spoke English, helpful with directions, and securely held our luggage until check-in time. Room was clean, bathroom was tiny. Couldn’t get room temp just right, so it was nice to have a window that opened slightly for fresh, cool air. Hotel was a good value, and would consider staying here again if/when we return to Kyoto.

The place is convenient in that it’s right across the street from the train and a 40 minute walk to Fushimi Inari gates. My room had crumbs and hair on the floor and in the bathroom so it wasn’t the cleanest. I do like that they offer toiletries to use but they don’t offer you water and you have to pay 300 yen to get a cup of coffee.

Conveniently located right in front of the Kyoto Station, we had easy accesses to bus, train, and Shinkansen as well as many dining options. The room was a bit small but 2 adults and 2 kids slept comfortably and the price was great. Staffs were nice and breakfast buffet was good too.

We've been traveling all over Japan and this is our fifth hotel. Sad to say, it's the worst one. Compared to the others, it offers the least amenities, cleanliness of the bathroom was sub-par, the bed was laughable with its foam top falling off the edge when pushed slightly, no complimentary bottles of water. On the positive side, it's located right across from the station and the check-in staff was nice. Would i stay here again. That would be a hard 'no'.

Reasonably priced business hotel
Very reasonably priced Business Hotel very close to Kyoto Station West Exit. My only caveat was that the coin laundry needed better lighting. So I didn't use it!

On this occasion, I found the mattress kept sliding off the bed when I sat on it which was rather annoying. That said, I've stayed with ibis Styles in various locations now and the ibis Styles Kyoto Station is quite typical and, generally, a good budget hotel.

The location is conveniently located across from Kyoto Station. The room was very tight and it was a little difficult to get in and out of the room. The room was clean and quiet.

Across the street from the station. Checkin was simple, staff was friendly and even tolerated my terrible attempts at Japanese. Decent breakfast spread for the buffet. The bed was comfortable but the duvet was more than the AC could handle and I found myself instead cranking the AC to 27 and ignoring the duvet altogether. Vending machines are downstairs, but 7-11 is also 20 seconds down the street. Next time I'm in town I will check here first.

Accor just pushes their company politics and the French stinginess all over their products in the world. I rather stay at a local hotel or a US chain next time Amazing staff and very friendly great hospitality. Just the product is better elsewhere

Great place to stay. Right across Kyoto station. I suggest to only use medium luggage coz I was barely able to open my large suitcase in the room.

Excellent and convenient location.
Excellent location, right next to the Kyoto train station. Even if it is close to the station, it was quiet. Great location in terms of clean area and lots of tasty food/restaurant in the station and around the hotel. Check in was great, had to pay city tax. Had luggage storage before check in and after check out. They had amenities. Room was small, but typical in Japan hotels. They upgraded us to a queen sized room, we didn’t know, until we wanted to extend one more night… had to transfer to a double room, unless we paid the difference to stay in the queen sized bedroom. This is the only negative about it. I would think if we extended another night, they don’t have to pay their workers to clean another room. And, they were the ones who upgraded us, without us asking… they should have just kept us in the same room. Otherwise, great hotel!

This is directly across the street from the Kyoto station, which is a very clean shopping friendly place with lots of good dining options. Worth a night walk around the station to appreciate the impressive architecture and typical splashes of neon so unique to Japan.

Great location right by the main train station. Clean, comfortable rooms with friendly helpful staff. Rooms are small by US standards but pretty normal for Japan from what I’ve seen. I would definitely stay here again.

I liked the location and the staff. The hotel is right across from Kyoto train station. I worried it would be loud but it wasn’t. And the station offered a ton of shops and there was a mall with movie theater a couple blocks away. I did not care for the bed which was wonky, a pad falling off a mattress. It was a very basic room and hotel with no complimentary coffee or much for room amenities.
