Upon arrival we were told that due to construction that there would be no hot water for the next 3 days. They were kind enough to have sent us an email at 8:30 that morning; long after we were on the road. Since I was already sick there was no way I was up for a cold shower. The hotel staff was kind enough to book us at another hotel which turn out to be one of the nicest hotels we stayed at. The Hotel Stary in Malborg, Poland. Breakfast was included for $100 per night.
Can not rate the rooms as we did not stay there. Maybe Expedia needs to get better information before suggesting a hotel.

We spotted the huge sign for the hotel from the road, so it was easy to find. You have to park in the free public car park, right outside the hotel, there is a small shopping mall right next to the hotel, the staff were friendly, spoke English. they gave us a discount voucher for the restaurant. The breakfast was fine,
Very disappointed, I selected this hotel because the pictures showed a very elegant and modern hotel, nothing to do with reality, everything seemed like a hostel style, I selected this over other hotels closed to the center because it looked very modern.
Not Well sitúate actually is Not on Gdansk is on Gdanski, about 20 minutes away from the center. Hard to find english speakers in the área.

Two days in Gdansk and the location of the hotel enabled us to do most things easily on foot. It is very quiet, even though the room faced a major highway. Staff was friendly and helpful. Parking was free. Outside patio for breakfast in nice weather.
Hotel first class. Staff more than helpful and they could speak English which was very good. They were very pleasant and never too busy to answer any query we had. Ordering taxis for our party of 8 was never a problem. An outside area to sit with friends would have been welcome. The hotel was a 5 minute walk under an underpass which was well lit and safe at all times from the old town of Gdansk. Gdansk is amazing.
"Very comfortablel convenient hotel near the centre"
Rooms are well furnished with fridge and tea and coffee facilities. Complimentary water both still and fizzy every day.
Great breakfast to suit all tastes including vegetarian Restaurant had a varied menu and an all inclusive buffet. We ate in the hotel every evening.
The staff could not do enough for us and were very friendly .
It was a very well managed hotel.
Only negative was that the lift was not working which was difficult for amemner of our party who had mobility problems
Flights were on time.
