Stayed for one week to attend a conference at conference center next door. The hotel was excellent; the daily breakfast was awesome and the health club was well equipped and available 24/7 with room key.

Cons: Dont see anything...
Location: Perfect location
What a pleasant, although "cool" place to stay ! Friendly, lovable staff from the Garage warden to the reception and concierges !

What you see is what you get

Pros: Its posh looking and the rooms are posh too. Its comfortable and it takes the stress of travelling and moving about away as soon as you are in the hot
Cons: Night staff didn't seem to be anywhere and struggled to find one for assistance
Location: My stay was short (2 nights) and I was busy
The hotel was efficient and the service great. I had a last minute booking and everything was in place by the time I arrived a short time later. The hotel deserves its 5 star rating

Great stay. Food was excellent and well worth it. Not right next to beach. Renovations to lobby during stay were not disruptive. Very helpful staff. Downtown walk to Workshop probably not advisable in late evening as it did not look very safe.

Hotel is overdue for renovations

This hotel is not in the best location in Durban. Avoid it unless you need to be in downtown Durban. A better option would've been Umhlanga. Room furniture was very tired. Staff were mostly pleasant. Breakfast was good with some variety.

Nice hotel

We used the Hilton as a stop over, it's being renovated which is not so good , service is slow but if you stay on a Friday then recommend the buffet dinner it's the busiest night. The service is slow, the decor is outdated and although comfortable rooms , it is in need of repairs. Could be a great deal better.

Pros: Absolutely nothing
Cons: Everything
Location: stadium
Hotel needs to be refurbished. I am a diamond member(Hilton Honors) and the service was still poor. Everything or item needs to be updated including the business center. But I do not fault the staff, because poor operation begins at the top and triggers down to the staff(ripple affect). Please look for other hotels in Durban. paying customer with much disappointment.
