Pros: Localtion close to conference center.
Cons: Drastic overhaul of minor details making a five star facility memorable.
Terribly poor and neglected service. By no means at five star standards. Four at most.

The staff were great which was the highlight of the stay. It was a surprise for my wife which they were more than happy to help me with. From check in to check out they were great help.

I asked for a quiet room on a high floor with a sea view and that's what I was given. The hotel itself is beautiful inside. However, I found the room to be less than 5 star standards. I would have called it a good 4 star room. There was nothing wrong with it but I found it was missing the little extra's that should set it aside from a 4 star. One thing I was surprised it was missing was a bath robe and slippers. The bed was extremely firm but I did manage to sleep on it. But as for the pillows, they were hard as rocks. At 11pm I had to call housekeeping to ask for softer pillows as the ones I was trying to sleep on gave me a migraine. As for service, it was incredibly good. Everyone seemed genuinely happy to assist. I appreciate everything the staff did and I must say this hotel is like chalk and cheese compared to the Cape Town Hilton where I had an absolutely horrific stay.

This is a 4 star hotel masquerading as a 5 star. Definitely not five star. Second stay here and it hasn't improved in past three years. Food was still not up to scratch. The fillet steak was hard, and felt more like rump. Breakfast was a mess with cheap yogurts probably from local supermarket... this is not 5 star quality. They need to send their staff and management for training to proper five star hotels. The Beverly Hills and Oyster Box are far better offering better quality of service. Stayed here because I had to attend a function at ICC, otherwise I'd give this place a miss.

Agréable séjour dans ce bel hotel. Le restaurant est très bon, le personnel très accueillant et disponible, les chambres sont grandes et très propres. Seul tout petit point faible: un tout petit spa mais les soins y sont agréables.
