We stayed in the apartment which had a well equipped kitchen and dining space, a large bedroom and a south-facing balcony. The apartment was spacious and spotlessly clean. There is free parking at the property. There are two small supermarkets withing two minutes walk and a reasonably priced restaurant the same distance away. A five minute walk takes you to tow other restaurants. Plitvice National Park is a five minute drive away. Marija was a charming host who provided a lot of useful information about the park. We would not hesitate to stay there again next time we visit Plitvice.

This little property has three clean, comfortable, nicely-decorated rooms. There is free parking on site. It is walking distance to 2 small grocery stores and 2 restaurants. And it is a short drive to more services. But mainly, it is only a short drive to the parking and entry gates to Plitvice Lakes National Park. My one recommendation to Marija would be to get plain coffee, without "cream and sugar" pre-added. Thanks for a lovely stay. You have a little bit of paradise there.

Lovely clean room and bathroom. Great shower and the host was very friendly and helped with suggestions for the National Park and local restaurants. 2 restaurants within walking distance and a mini supermarket opposite. Onsite parking. Breakfast extra but reasonable. Very affordable and would recommend this place. (We stayed out of season so more restaurants etc may be open in season)

Hidden gem!
Marija was the perfect host! Her homemade breakfasts were delicious. The room was spotless and very comfortable. The private porch has a beautiful view. Its only 10 minutes drive from Plitvice Lakes, and there are great restaurants and food markets within walking distance. I recommend this hidden gem highly!

Marija welcomed us and surprised us later with a glass of wine and homemade plum dumplings. The rooms were perfect for travellers. Set up with consideration for what a traveller might need. There was no wifi for iPhones all through this area including nearby Plitvice Lakes National Park.

What a lovely little find about 5 minutes from the entrance 2 to the national park. Friendly welcome from the host who gave us some juice and some great recommendations for local eats. We stayed in apartment 3 which had a great little balcony. Really clean with everything you could need. Good WiFi and satellite TV. If we came up to the park again we would definately stay here. We paid for an omelette for breakfast (55 kuna pp) a little pricey but good start to the day.

Ideal location for Plitvice
Ideal location for Plitvice - 5 minute drive to Entrance 1 . Very pretty house with flowers hanging from the balconies -reminded us of ski chalet. Good sized room and Bed and good air con . Host normally offers breakfast for extra fee but the few days we were there this was not available - 2 small supermarkets in walking distance so this wasn’t a problem . Also few restaurants also in walking distance which was a bonus- they too offered breakfast . Only issue was the shower which intermittently went hot and cold during use . Enjoyed our stay and would recommend House Marija if you are visiting Plitvice lakes .

Hotel Marjika is a surprisingly non-rustic apartment a short drive from Plitvice Lakes. The bedroom had a very comfortable king size bed and a flatscreen TV with over 100 channels. There were channels in approximately five languages which would suit most travelers. There’s a lovely little balcony with a view of the park. There is a grocery store directly across the street and several restaurants within a 1 to 5 minute walk. The bathroom is modern and attractive and the shower was one of the larger ones in our experience with converted homes. Our room with kitchenette was very light and welcoming. There was nothing to want for and it would be a comfortable place to spend several days. I will definitely stay at House Marjika again if I return to Plitvice lakes.

Perfectly located in a cosy town.
House Marija was located in a small and cosy town. We had enjoyed the quiet strolls to the river and trekking in the forests very much. If you choose to cook, there is a supermarket across the road. The microwave in the kitchen was a pleasant find, allowing us to heat up our food easily. If you choose not to cook, there is a restaurant right next door, and a couple others down the street. Will recommend to everyone looking for a relaxing vacation.

Delightfully more than I expected
Delightful! The host family was very kind - offering refreshments upon on arrival. The room was perfect! it was very clean and had a lovely dine-in kitchen that was well equipped, This is perfect for those who are health conscious and want to cook their own meal, although breakfast is an option for an additional fee. The views from the room are beautiful! A must stay if you are planning a trip to Plitvice National Park (countless waterfalls and a must see!) There is a grocery store across the street making this an easy place to relax and take in the beautiful surroundings.

Cozy and Comfortable Stay
We had a wonderful stay at House Marija! Our room was clean and looked cozy and nice upon arrival. The suite had 3 rooms: a bedroom with a scenic patio off of it, a clean bathroom, and a small kitchen and sitting area. The wifi was fast and worked well. We were greeted upon arrival with some pastries, and given information about nearby attractions. The host has brochures for nearby events which was very convenient! The hotel is located next to a delicious restaurant, which was convenient for meals, and across from a market, where you could by grocery items. It is a fast and convenient drive to Plitvice National Park, Entrance 1. Overall, we had an excellent stay and would recommend!
