“Nice little hotel”

We had a delightful stay at Hotel Lovran. It's a convenient location to the little Stari Grad, and the promenade. The lobby is very pleasant and comfortable, the rooms are basic but very clean and satisfactory, and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast is standard and adequate.

“Don't stay if the weather is too hot”

The hotel has a good position and a lovely building. the check in lady was unenthusiastic and gave us no information about the hotel. There was no air conditioning in the bedrooms and we spent a hot and uncomfortable night.

“Great service”

The hotel is in a fantastic location. The room could use a bit updating, but it was extremely clean, and the bathroom spotless. The front desk staff were helpful with everything from restaurant recommendations to directions to our next stop.

Traveller's tip
You can walk the promenade down by the sea for approximately 12 kilometers and enjoy the architecture of the area. The Croatian people are friendly and helpful.

“Lovran, zentral gelegen, gute Busverbindung”

Klar ist das Hotel kein Fünfsterne-Haus, aber gutes Preisleistungsverhältnis für eine Woche, in der man gut untergebracht ist. Direkt vom Hotel aus geht der Weg am See nach Opatja, bequem zu gehen, ein paar Meter vom Haus weg fährt der Bus weg nach Opatja/Rijeka (Karten in der Trafik kaufen, weil billiger). Im Hotel hält man es auch gut in der Lobby bei einem Kaffee oder einem Istra Bitter aus, das Frühstück ist kein kulinarisches Highlight, man bekommt jedoch auf Wunsch (ohne Mehrpreis) Spiegelei oder Tomaten/Gurken. Der Kaffee ist "lausig" aber trübt die Gesamtbewertung nicht wirklich. Frische Bettwäsche nach 3 Tagen, unaufgefordert zweite Bettdecke, da sehr kühl in dieser Zeit, zweites Kopfkissen. Gute Tipps für Gastronomie bekommen (Knetzgrad!), Plus Hilfe, wenn W-Lan "zickt". Netter Umgangston des gesamten Personals. Wir waren in der Vorsaison da, in der Region noch wenig los, aber rundum zufrieden und es gibt viel anzuschauen und zu erkunden in der Umgebung. Also gerne wieder. Beste W-Lan Verbindung Zi. 110 und 111.

Area recommendations
Opatja, Fußweg Lungomare, Rijeka, Labin und die ganzen Dörfer auf der Höhe, teilweise gute Restaurants. Im Tourist-Office gibt es einen Gastroführer, der uns bei unseren Istrien-Führern nie enttäuscht hat. Allerdings stimmen die Öffnungszeiten nicht immer. Bevor man also in die "Pampa" fährt, telefonisch erkunden, ob offen. Dann aber meist sehr lohnenswert. Tipp dazu: Für wenig Geld eine extra SIM-Karte kaufen. (Unsere war von "Simpa") Superfreundlicher und hilfsbereiter Verkäufer in Opatja, "Rennmeile" ca. 50 m von der Markthalle (li.) entfernt. Verlkauft auch Kameras und Fotozubehör. Mit der Karte kommt man auch ins Internet am Handy (Einstellungen vorher im Internet checken) Etwas weiter weg: Pazin, dort unbedingt das Museum anschauen.

“3 stelle pretenziose”

al 3 piano non c'è l'aria condizionata e la finestra è alta e piccola(lucernario). pulizia della camera superficiale. ambienti vecchi ma dignitosi. assolutamente pretenzioso avere 3 stelle!?
