“Hotel was fine”

This hotel is located on a Kuwaiti beach where there are many similar "resort" hotels. It is about 20 minutes by taxi from Kuwait City center, where all the business activity takes place. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. There is a very good health club on the premises and several restaurants (remember that you can not buy, serve, nor consume alcohol in Kuwait, so don't bother to ask for a wine list). The food was good in the restaurants and the service was very cordial. There is a small beach at the hotel, but you can't swim there. There are also 3 very nice pools on the premises, which are nicely landscaped. The rooms are suites and are a little stark, but comfortable. It is not easy to get around Kuwait City as you need a taxi to go everywhere, but there are several good museums and the Kuwait Towers, which give you surprisingly good view of the city. All is within a short taxi ride of this hotel.

Area recommendations
If you are doing business in the city, I would pick a hotel in the center. If you are just visiting, this is an area where there are lots of hotels because they are on the beach (but you can't swim in the Arabian Gulf here). After we took a taxi to the city center, we walked a lot, but still needed a taxi to visit other tourist sites.

“Great if diving with The Palms”

Hotel is nice, a bit pricey, but we were there for the convenience of finishing our dive certifications at the Palms Dive Center. Mostafa, our instructor is the best, so go there and ask for him if you want to get your PADI Scuba certs. Room cleanliness was an issue on one trip. There was a lot of left over food under the coffee table, showing that the room cleaners really didn't pay much attention since you could see it from the side angle.
