A clean and morern hotel - the hotel was morern and comfortable. Staff were pleasant and responsive - location was good, close to 2 small malls and a 20 min walk to the larger Marina Mall Cannot wait to return!

nice service, small rooms small rest room and you can't open the windo!, very good location, you have to pay for the parking almost $1 per hour. no free parking for hotel guests. it has a small mall on the ground floor. the best thing in this hotel is the location. it is close to Marina mall and the Marina and there are many malls around. hard to get a taxi.

“Great Deal for Weekend Stays”

I was very pleased with my stay at the Ibis. It is located a couple of blocks from Arab Gulf Street (not far from Scientific Centre and Hardrock Cafe); is next to a Sultan Centre Grocery Store; and there are numerous shopping and dining venues within one or two minute's walk. Many buses and taxis are available at all times of day so convenient transportation is always available. The hotel is no frills (no wash cloths, no lotion, small rooms) but the rooms are clean, the bed is extremely comfortable, and the wifi and hotel provided computers are adequate. The daily brunch is both affordable and filling with nice variety and good quality. The lounge area is comfortable and provides a nice space to visit with friends if your room is too small. For a quick and inexpensive weekend in Kuwait, this hotel is perfect. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

You don't get a bottle of water but you'll get a nice clean room, T.V. and great customer service. This hotel is situated on a street with plenty of dinning and shopping options. Don't expect a bell man or toiletries in your bathroom. This hotel is as bare bones as it gets but is worth the value.

“Excellent for Americans and western travelers”

I had a great experience with Ibis in the Salmiya neighborhood within Kuwait City. As an American traveling here for the first time, I was apprehensive. I must say that this hotel was absolutely great. The staff all spoke English very well and were courteous. The room was very nice. It was small, but well appointed and cozy. Very modern - nice TV, furnishings, and facilities. GOOD WIFI. My room had a nice view of the Arabian Gulf and the Hard Rock cafe. The neighborhood was good - many of the surrounding buildings contains dozens upon dozens of shops and restaurants that Americans are familiar with - even a Starbucks within walking distance. I highly recommend Ibis. WELL DONE.

“IBIS Hotel at Salmiya”

I had stayed at the IBIS before, but it had been booked locally ther first time. My room was smaller than before but fine for two nights. Free internet is always a worthwhile extra and connection was very simple. My only criticism was that there was no water to drink in the room and no shampoo provided. Other than that, the breakfast buffet is excellent and was only KD2 for continental breakfast

“Small clean room, but good value”

Good location, lot of restuarants and fast food in walking distance. A supermarket two streets down makes it convinent to shop for goodies for your room. Friendly staff. Room as everyone says it was small, but it never bothered me. Key for me was having free internet access which the room offered. If you've stayed at a typical hotel in Paris, then you'd be fine with this hotel. But if you like the American style rooms which are big then this is not for you.

best hotel for the price. nothing fancy, just a decent clean room near everything that one needs. Even one block from the persian gulf/beach.

“The Best Value in Town”

Situated on Salem Mubarak Street (busy Salmiya Disrict's main drag) but equally acessable from Arabian Gulf Street, the Ibis Hotel is a popular, clean, well-run business oriented hotel (but perfectly fine for other solo travelers or couples) is the best value in all of Kuwait. The rooms are quite small, so if you're looking for luxury, this isn't the place for you. But if you want a quiet clean hotel in a nice neighborhood, give the Ibis a try. The hotel is within walking distance to the popular Marina Mall, the Bayt Lothan cultural center and a short drive to the Scientific Center/IMAX Theater. There are lots of shops and cafes on Salem Mubarak street and a Sultan Center (Supermarket) two doors down from the hotel. Ibis has opened a new hotel in the Sharq neighborhood which is much more convenient to the Bneid al-Gir business district.
