Terrible stay
No air conditioning in summer time, I stayed in the end of May, only heating available which is central controlled by hotel. We couldn’t sleep all night because it was too hot (showing 27C) and no fresh air. Bathtub is too high which I almost fall down when getting in and out.

Comfortable and convenient location
The hotel is very close to the station. The room was comfortable and good value. Free drinks are available downstairs, but only coffee or hot water. When I asked about tea, the receptionist reacted as if I was making an unreasonable request, which I found very strange.

perfect hotel
Stayed here one night whilst going to view the red crowned cranes. This is a great location, very close to the train station. Comfortable hotel, nice room, staff were great. Everything you can hope for for a one night stay!

Cosy and nice hotel in a quiet area
Comfort Hotel Kushiro is a pretty new hotel close to Kushiro Train Station. It is in a quiet area but within walking distance to eateries (we went for dinner so not sure if eateries are open for lunch). Kushiro Fisherman’s Wharf at Moo Mall is about 7 minutes drive away. The rooms are of reasonable size and value for money for the rates we paid. They are clean and bright. Breakfast is simple but then again, it is complimentary. Coffee and lemon infused ice water is available foc after breakfast hours. Hotel staff is helpful. For those driving, the open car park is next to the hotel and costs 700 per day.

Lovely Hotel
Lovely hotel, lovely staff. Within walking distance of many restaurants and bars. Room a little small but typical of Japan. Breakfast excellent.

We called two days before we check in to add one more day stay and the hotel staff is really helpful. The complimentary breakfast is simple but delicious and have good combinations. We ate our breakfast there during our two days stay.

Our room's temperature was so warm that we had to pop open the window despite the 20 degree temperatures outside. Luckily the heavy curtain served as a barrier and just enough cold air got in. Otherwise it would have been too hot to sleep. If not for that problem we were satisfied with this hotel. Yes the room was Japan size (tiny) but the staff was friendly, the breakfast was adequate and the location was within a block from the JR train. Our thanks to the morning clerks who allowed us to take out some onigiri rice balls from the breakfast buffett. We had a very early train and had no time to sit and eat.

Receptionist are friendly, but can only speak limited English. Parking is not free . No breakfast provided . Close to the train station. No shopping mall in the neighbour.

suggest if you go to kushiro . so close to station
All the hotels we stayed in Japan are good this one is same. Staff can speak reasonable English. Even they can't they knew you are foreigners they prepared a English notes with all the information you need . Air conditioning is in quite mode not like other countries air conditioning like a boat engine aloud

The room was the biggest compared to the other hotels we stayed at in Japan (Sapporo, Tokyo and Kyoto) but it was old making it looks a little dirty. However, the staff was friendly, very helpful and professional.

It is very neat the JR station, but I remembered put something on the counter when I checked in, afterwards, I forgot to bring back to room, then I lost the guide book. I came back to counter and hope the reception can be helped, but Japanese style seems not want any trouble, they only say no no no, nothing, I think maybe the people who after us thought there was a guide book in hotel then took it. We hope they can help to check, but they didn't. I little bit disappointed with that. By the way, the room is clean and tidy, if you want a place which is near the station for a night sleep, then that maybe a good choice.

Stayed at this hotel Dec 27-29, 2013. It has no frills, but covers everything I consider necessary and important: a clean, non-smoking room; a comfortable bed and handy desk area; and a tiny bathroom module with plenty of hot water and good water pressure. By no frills, I mean that the room was very small and I was on my own when it came to handling my luggage, but for the price these were non-issues. However, the hotel includes breakfast, and this is definitely a nice perk. Both mornings the breakfast selections would have satisfied most eastern- and western-style guests, with onigiri (rice balls with salmon, bonito flakes, or plain), pastries, cold cereal (corn flakes and cocoa krispies), homemade yogurt, fruit (fresh kiwi halves one day, canned pineapple and fresh orange slices the next), German-style potatoes and sausage, soup (miso and minestrone), and beverages (coffee, tea, milk, and juice). I arrived driving a rental car and was able to park it in the adjoining parking tower for 500 yen/day ($5 - which I considered a bargain); check-out was at 10am, and since I waited until 10am, I had to wait about 10 minutes to retrieve my car from the tower.

Good hotel very near to railway station.
Easy to find from rail station, hotel sign can be seen from forecourt. About a 5 minute walk. Room was clean and comfortable. Room quite large by Japanese standards. Breakfast was reasonable. Tea/coffee making facilities in room (green tea). Though there is not a lot to do in Kushiro itself, it is an excellent place to base yourself to do the eastern part of Hokkaido, which is reason i booked. Hotel. Would definately book again if in area.

Everything is good. Breakfast is decent with practical serving as one can ask for. Bed is comfortable & room condition is modern. Location is ideal to walk to morning market & major city attractions. Comfort Hotel price is very reasonable. Will book for this hotel group again.

部屋は清潔感があり広さも十分。ユニットバスも少し広めで快適でした。また、ウェルカムドリンクで夜間もコーヒーが提供されるのは嬉しい限り。朝食もスープや野菜を使った総菜、ヨーグルトにフルーツと、豪華ではありませんが満足できるものでした。
