We really liked that we were able to walk everywhere and that most of the paths had tree shade! Rooms were beautiful and clean, the pool was excellent, and the breakfast was delicious!

The beach was beautiful, most staff very friendly. Food was mostly good, limited dietary restriction options. No room upgrade despite availability (we think) but we were happy with our room. We would have loved transport in the evening. We were supposed to drive but then ended up having to take a taxi and pay USD $200; and the shuttle back to the airport was free which we REALLY appreciated as a service, but only ran 1x per day at 9AM. Overall, we were pleased.

Big property with an in intimate resort experience. All good options were great and it was nice to have diversity. Pool is right on the beach. Room was clean and well maintained. And staff was incredibly responsive.

Great spot for getaway ! Staff very kind and helpful. Room was great. Tasty and various foods for breakfast. Lot of activities to do no matter when you visit. Free hot spring and sauna during stay. Will definitely come back again!

A bit old facility, however it is a huge resort complex with good infrastructure. It has pools, great beach side, good breakfast and a la carte menu for dinner and lunch. Beef curry, pastas were just excellent for lunch. Will come again

Check-in was a mess. They first sent me to a room that was already occupied. Once it was figured out, the room was wonderful. The pools and breakfast was amazing. I am not sure that we'd come back but it was a nice weekend away.

Our stay was very nice! The staff was amazing and very respectful. Exactly what you would expect from our host nation. The food was great and everything was so clean. We will definitely be back. However, the beds took a little getting used to. They are very firm.

Best hotel in Okinawa
Great place to unwind. The pool is very good and the staff are all very friendly. It’s unfortunate that some of the restaurants were closed due to coming covid. The beach is also very beautiful. We will go again

Picturesque!
If you’re looking for nature’s healing, this is the place for you! Surrounded by the Yambaru National park and white sand beach.. it was the perfect place for our stay. There’s lots of things to do but if you need to work, the wifi wasn’t very good, but other than that, no complaints! The view on the sunset from the private beach is to die for!!

Went here with my family for 3d2n. The resort was okay but the room was a bit outdated and dirty. Dust everywhere. The only thing that i love are the customer service. They are really polite, helpful and friendly.

The parking was annoying as it was a 7min walk to my car and it was raining our entire trip. The WiFi would not stream correctly and went in and out every five minutes.

From the arrival to Okuma staff was very kind and polite. Quick check in and beautiful room. Delicious food at surf side buffet. Many thing to sightseeing around Okuma Private Resort Very recommended

This is a very nice resort that was converted from a Voice of America broadcasting facility in the late 1970s. It's spacious, and the beach and pool area are very nice.

wonderful staff,but housekeeping needs improvement
The staff members were so nice and welcoming to us throughout our stay. My only negative comment is that our room was not clean upon checkin and the second room also needed a good deep cleaning. This is a beautiful resort but housekeeping needs to do a much better job inspecting the rooms before people check in. For many years I drove by this resort and dreamed about staying there but it was very disappointing to find a dirty cloth inside the sofa. We opted to pay an additional $280 to change rooms and move to a different part of the resort in the hopes that it would be more sanitary. The staff at valet, the staff at the front desk and the bellman staff are fantastic though. During this time of Covid-19, cleanliness is very important and I hope that housekeeping will improve the cleaning process for these rooms.
This was disappointing.

This was the first room that was not clean.
The resort grounds are beautiful.
