A truly special expererience. Very cosy stay in a fabulous part of Stockholm. Only a few minutes walk to Friedhemsplan tube. The staff went out of their way to help and make us feel welcome. We were sorry to leave.
"Great for Adult tourists and business travellers"
The rooms are basic, but very clean. The rooms retain heat from the day and are very hot at night. If you leave the windows open the noise from the street is very loud. The beds are large foam mattresses which are not to everyone's taste, but the bed linen is clean. There were no coat hangers in the wardrobe. An iron and ironing board were available from reception. Breakfast was a lovely selection of cereals, breads, meats, cheese, pickles, tomatoes, eggs, yoghurt, with fresh juice and coffee or tea. Local newspapers were available too. The dinning room is across from reception and it is also very clean and light and airy. The toiletries are basic, liquid shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. The reception team are very polite and extremely helpful. Nothing is too much trouble if you are visiting the city of Stockholm for the first time. This hotel is right beside the T-bana (metro) and very near bus stops. A shopping centre is available across the street and there are lots of restaurants in the area. Cash machines are also available across the street. Overall a very nice little hotel in the business district within easy access of all amenities. I would stay again, but not facing the street due to the noise.

Welcome to the small and cosy Aldoria, a Sweden city hotel offering affordable accommodations in downtown Stockholm …More
This hotel is excellent for a short trip to Stockholm. Only a 5 minute walk from the metro system which will take you all over the city, and the price and facilities are excellent too. The only complaint I could have is that the bathrooms tend to flood which can leak into (and under) the wooden floor of the room - this is only a very minor point however.
We stayed in this hotel when we first were dating 12 years ago! We enjoyed our stay just as much this visit. This time we walked a lot more and saw more sites. The hotel staff was very helpful and the food was delicious, always. The gift shop did not give receipts on the second and third visit. Of our month traveling Europe, this was the most expensive hotel of all.

This historic island neighborhood on Stockholm's Riddarfjärden Bay offers paved walking paths next to the shore and green parks to explore. Several bridges offer easy access. Stockholm City Hall, built with more than 8 million bricks, stands tall on the waterfront and the castle-like Stockholm Courthouse is a must-see. Apartments, shops, and cafés line the streets.
