Very nice modern hotel relatively close to historic old town. Has 2 restaurants (but we did not eat there). There is A LOT restaurants and bars with patios in Old Town.

Good food bar staff ignore you
Hotel is generally good check in fine and checkout fine. Issue with key card but sorted. You pull door to you then push forward. One let down was Bar service absolutely shocking. Waited over forty for a staff member to ask what I wanted. Standing around doing nothing. Food very good as were drinks but staff need to wake up and see customers waiting. Very very disappointing ! Don’t expect a bill either you’d be dead by the time they brought it ! Rather than sit there for 35 years I paid at the counter. You get fed rubbish on the tv in the room about service etc … sort it out this isn’t good enough. I almost ate the large person next to me waiting to be served.

Awesome location just 10 min walk from Old Town. Staff is exceptionally helpful. Fantastic breakfast, as other reviews have indicated. Fast WiFi. And even gave me free parking (I was expecting to pay 18 PLN per day) and gingerbread cookies upon check out. My one suggestion is to develop the fitness center more. There are 2 treadmills, a stationary bike that doesn’t work, and an elliptical, plus an apparatus for ab work. It would be easy to add some mats, for example. However, the sauna and jacuzzi are amazing!!!! Overall, I will be recommending this place to friends and family, for sure, and I look forward to my next trip!

The rooms are clean and breakfast is really good but air-con is way too noisy: couldn’t sleep at all :-( , the standard is nowhere near 4-star hotel: very modest furniture, no toiletries in the bathroom, I wouldn’t recommend

Great stay at the Filmar. However rooms need an update .Hotel is very clean,the staff is always very helpful and nice.The buffet breakfast is outstanding and food at the restaurant exceptional.Our omlette chef is also exceptional- he makes the best omlettes ever. We will stay there again.

Good choice at the right price
Bed could be bit more comfortable and air conditioning more efficient but otherwise nice, clean and comfortable hotel within an easy and comfortable walk to the center of town. Price was very reasonable. Good breakfast.

Our group of 4 purchased the breakfast. It was excellent. A wide selection of foods and a Chef who prepared eggs while you waited. The room was very nice and well cleaned.

The hotel is well maintained with many facilities(sauna, fitness). However I didn't use them so I can't rate them. The personal at the reception are friendly but a bit cold. Breakfast was very good, lot's of choices. It takes about 15-20min to walk to the old town as around the hotel there are not restaurants or bars.

Really good quality and value for money
Very good hotel with really nice up to high standards rooms. Great value for money, large comfortable beds and friendly and helpful stuff. Clean and extremely welcoming and enjoyable altogether. Since prices were pretty high elsewhere nearer the old town, this was the best decision we could do by staying a bit more far from the city centre. After all, we had a rental car, but even if you don’t have, it is some 20 minutes walk to the old town so not far at all. The breakfast was included in our rate and was having a wide variety of choice and good quality for everything. Also not far from the hotel there are great restaurants offering real traditional food at very competitive prices.

Sporting visit
Hotel Filmar is a gem. It is a short walk to town or a taxi is cheap and is always available right outside the door. Make sure you visit the small but excellent spa and the restuarant is highly recommended. The breakfast is superb and the chef will prepare freshly cooked eggs any way you like. The staff on reception are very helpful and speak good English so get a map and discover the old town in your own way.

The hotel Filmar is within walking distance of pretty much everything you would want to see in Torun, and close to restaurants and a convenience store. The hotel was clean and offered a variety of services, but we only stayed here for one night so didn't take advantage of any ammenities.

All good but there should be free breakfast....
In my order I meant to have free breakfast but when I arrived staff claim it wasn't included..... not good at all for this!!!! But if this would be in place overall would be very good
