Disappointing Room

I have stayed at the Pullman many times, in fact am a regular as I travel to Kuching every month. This time the room was disappointing. There were no stationary, no soap and the shower area had black filthy fungi in between the tiles.

Nice Hotel in the city

Housekeeping to Puzzle restaurant-excellent servic

Pros: Staff service is excellent, from housekeeping to Puzzle restuarant & facilities like swimming pool, large shower, avai. of smoking room
Cons: Reservations n parking ticket validations
Location: Great location, near city centre, shopping centres, mcdonalds, dentist, lawyer's office
The only thing I was not pleased is reservations which I would rate 0. I had paid in full via expedia, and Pullman front office claimed they dont have my reservation. I had emailed a few times to Pullman reservations, to double check on that and get back to me, BUT there was NO response at all. That is the 1st step for Pullman to get their guests in, and if reservations is not interested at alll and no actions taken, the hotel is going to lose their income because of them. Parking ticket validated by front office is not-useable at the basement car park at all! Cars cant get out and have to ask security to scan their own card to open the bar. The rest of the hotel service is excellent, from housekeeping to Puzzle restuarant.

First class hotel in the centre of town

Pros: The bathroom was huge and you have a beautiful view of the River and city while laying in the long bath through a huge glass panel next to the bathtub
Location: centre of town easy walk to the river front ,china town and shopping malls as well as next door to the best seafood restaurants in town call TopSpot
The hotel is first class I have no complain on anything. The front desk staff were very helpful and cheerful.

HOTEL THAT ACCEPT BIGS CARS DRIVERS ONLY

Location: good location for moving round.
I and my husband went for two nights stay. He has relatives from Kuching. We are from Singapore. We borrowed a car from his relative, a normal local car. This hotel, though we are staying in their hotel, has plenty of parking space outside, DO NOT let their customers park by the big parking lot outside, even though we were back in the hotel following middle of the night and checking out 6:30am in the morning. Not that no parking space. I respect that there are VIP has reserved parking space, but even if many ample parking lot with no car plate, all reserved, for WHO?? If the hotel thinks that a small car is not justified to park outside the hotel, then why accept the drivers of the car??? PLEASE just indicate that the hotel only accept CUSTOMERS WHO DRIVE BIG CARS. THEY ARE THE ONLY ONES ELIGIBLE FOR THE STAYING IN. THAT MAKES THINGS EASIER.

Great hotel, hard beds

Pros: Service, nice room, modern, well maintained
Cons: Bar prices too high. More tv channels would be good.
Location: On top of Hills shopping center. The shopping center is almost empty however. There are lots of good restaurants and bars, and shopping nearby.
Very well presented hotel. Beds are a bit "firm" for a westerner. Bar prices at the pool were too high. But the hotel itself was well run, beautiful, very nice and high quality rooms.

Three days at Pullman kuching

Pullman never fail us. The friendly manager on duty has upgraded us to executive floor. Perhaps it is off peak during weekday. Room is well maintained. From the security bell boy receptionist to the cleaners. All are well trained and greet us with a big smile. Keep it up

Wow what an over rated hotel

Cons: Stock the hotel with accommodations. Jeeze I'd like a few towels in the room, not a lot but 1 hand towel would be helpful.
I read a lot about this place before booking. What a disappointment, I can't believe it's being touted as 5 start hotel. The staff however were very accommodating and helped me with securing a great tour. The room was relatively clean but I had to ask for a single towel. There was only one towel and each day they took it away and didn't leave a new one. The mini bar was a small refrigerator, empty. No snacks, no drinks, nothing but an iced over refrigerator. This hotel is an ok budget hotel but certainly not a luxury one they are pretending to be.

Pros: The location of the hotel.
Cons: The cleanliness of the room and some staff needs to have good communication skills in greeting and attending to guest.

Nice and Comfortable Bed

Location: The roof top seafood is nearby and the old china town
we stayed in Pullman for 3 nights. The room given to us was super big with a king comfortable bed. the toilet is super big with good water shower and a bath tub. Location wise is good and walking distance to food court and the surroundings. I would recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again in our next visit to Kuching.
